Build quality is SOLID and the cord length is adequate for my needs. Its currently being used as a surge protector for a 24 hour greenhouse. Great outlet capacity just keep in mind how many watts you are putting through it as you should always do with any surge protector. Easy to use as are all surge protectors simply plug it in and go. its design allows it to be mounted to a wall, floor, or ceiling which is nice.

This Power Strip is super handy for musicians who have a lot of stuff that needs to be plugged in. I run a stereo guitar rig and between needing to power two amps, I also have a pedal board which requires two power supplies. It ultimately takes two power strips to keep everything powered up. I will only hook up one amp to each one as I figure a Tube Amp is probably drawing a lot of current, plus I have two pedal power supplies which I also plug into separate power strips plus probably at least 4 pedals that have higher voltage requirements or other quirky power requirements and could not easily be powered with my power supplies, so it's nice to have the 3 widely spaced outlets for the usually large power transformers that these single pedal power supplies require. Also, for ultimate protection of my equipment, I turn off the power strips completely once I've shut down my guitar rig. Bottom line: this feels and seems to work like a well made product and it does what it's supposed to do. Would recommend.

Excellent power solution for the stage that should prove durable. Unlike job site or computer strips, this is black, not white, yellow, or orange, for a much nicer look on stage. The outlet arrangement can handle a few wall warts without blocking other outlets, and the cord itself is a nice length for typical backline use. The cord neatly wraps around the metal case of the device and clips to itself for transport and storage. The red plug is a nice touch to make it stand out from other cables when unplugging. I'll probably pick up a few more.

I had been using an old power strip for way too long, and this D'Addario power base was the perfect upgrade for my bass rig. Completely silent and reliable power for my amp and pedalboard, and I LOVE how the cord can wrap around the base for easy storage/transport (it's the perfect length, too). Also super convenient that one side has room for larger plugs and the other side fits smaller ones. I like to use the big side for the chunky power adapter that runs to my pedalboard, as well as the power cord for my amp. If you're on the fence about this one, it's definitely worth the price. Your gear deserves a power base like this one. My only complaint is that I didn't upgrade sooner.

It a better quality power strip for you musical equipment needs and it looks professional!!

I love this thing. Convenient, fits in my bag neatly and compactly, looks great, and has just made plugging "everything" in something I'm not worried about anymore. It's weighty (as opposed to feeling light and cheaply made, this is solid and feels well built) and won't flip over when you plug in those awkwardly large transformers that outweigh the power strip. We've all used those cheap, light power strips that lean over or flip upside down when a large or heavy something is plugged into it, and it's annoying. That'll never happen again with this thing. I've already had several band mates and fellow musicians ask me about mine and bought their own.

Always happy with Planet Waves products. Heavy duty and built for musicians. Added a reduction in noise as well. A lot of regular if not worse products at the price range and above. Highly recommended, a few friends will be getting these at Xmas

I like that D’Addario made enough room for warts ( wide a/c plugs). Built well. Serves my purpose. Cost is a little higher than I am used to, but hopefully overtime worth it.
