Exactly as advertised. This is my fourth purchase from Costa Farms. They do a really good job with the packaging most of the time it’s 99.99% intact if not 100% intact. Delivery is quick because we live in the same state. And have nothing negative to say. The plant came healthy. Looks great and exactly like the picture size. All the purchases come exactly as advertisement and described. The packaging is very simple, open at the top, rip on the side take your plant out and you’re done. Update: I uploaded images of 5 feet fiddle leaf versions. I was going to do a separate review but it doesn’t allow me because it’s the same product different size. Both of them came in healthy. I was a little worried at the beginning because I missed a delivery by mistake. So they were held two days extra instead of two days delivery so that was a total four days they were packaged perfectly. Luckily, they had no damage on them. Letting them soak outside in the water/sun for a bit before repotting and bringing them and door. UPDATE: 2/5/2024 Everything in the review still holds true the only thing I would be a little bit careful for that one of the trees that are 5 feet came in more leaning on the right side, than directly growing in the center so what happened is that the roots and everything was very well established, except the was only one branch growing directly in the center, while the other five were going directly on the right side, making a tilt over. This is not the fault of the grower. It was just grown that way and probably nobody noticed it. It wasn't noticeable inside the box, but once taken out and watered and let it spread out a little bit. I would not be able to be put inside of a vase for indoors, (I tried) since it would lean on the 4 o'clock angle versus straight. I could have straighten it by force by tying it down/stake but the tree is very well developed with a lot of leaves it's pretty much already set in stone. I didn't want to return it because it would be too clumsy and I had no room for it outdoors. Luckily, Amazon customer support was helpful and they gave me a refund. Totally unexpected. Like I said, this is probably a fluke every other item bought by coastal Farm came in perfectly. I would be a little bit more careful for the larger trees like these you would probably want to contact them and ask them to specifically look from one that's more straight in the center.

ordered this as a gift on 12/16/2025 and it got here beautiful, intact and well packaged on 12/22/2025. We had unseasonably warm sunny weather with highs in the upper 70’s so I carefully placed it on the deck for the afternoon sun for a few hours about 3 days in a row . I noticed the first day most of the leaves had liquid fertilizer residual ( like miracle grow maybe) The 3rd day of warm sunshine I completely removed the brown wrapper The leaves looked and felt dry so the next day I gently used a lukewarm damp cloth in attempt to remove some of the bright green fertilizer residual. The topsoil under the plastic wrap was dry so I gave it a 1/2 cup drink of water as directed. I was so worried that I would not be able to keep this plant alive until my son’s girlfriend got here. I’ve never had a green thumb so they scare me a little. And My black thumb did not disappoint. I checked on the plant this morning which has been living in a warm room west facing room and BOOM ! Dead leaves everywhere and it looks like it would go great at the Addams Family’s or The Munsters house. Soooo very disappointed because I was so careful. My son and GF will be here tomorrow and I just want to trash the whole thing. No more plants For me. Spent way too much money over the years without zero luck.

My Fiddle Leaf Fig arrived in perfect condition. All of her leafs were intact and very healthy. It came well packaged and supported with sturdy bamboo sticks.

(8/29 update further down) Really wanted this plant and was disappointed to receive one that was not only not as full as what is advertised, but also had seven leaves broken during shipment, likely due to the planter legs being packed on top of them. Agree with another reviewer’s comment that while the planter is beautiful, the plastic pot insert was too tight. I had to use another planter to allow the plant to breathe and for easier handling while watering. Also, use caution when moving the planter legs as they are not secure. Some leaves were damaged when the planter fell out of the legs despite careful handling. The soil was extremely compacted like a flat pancake. Had to repot with better draining soil to avoid root rot. The new leaves are still very slow to grow considering I’ve had this plant for a month and a half. A new pup has since appeared so I’m very optimistic that the plant will thrive with some more TLC. I am also crossing my fingers that some of the broken leaves will root and grant me some new plants. This plant is a great addition to our home, just wish that at that price that there was better value for the money. 8/29 update (changed from 3 stars to 5): I’ve had my pilea for over five months now and it’s acclimated beautifully in its new home. The smaller pot and better draining soil really helped it rebound to become the strong mother plant that I hoped it would be. I put it back in its white planter stand although I’m still very careful when moving it. My pilea gets a substantial amount of natural light, even direct morning sun on some days. Over the summer it has been producing many new (and huge!) leaves as well as three pups that I transplanted and are also growing very fast. The leaves and stems are so perky and happy. Some of the leaves are wider than the size of my hand! Very satisfied now with my purchase. Four of the broken leaves from shipping have rooted so I’m hopeful that I’ll have new plants from them next Spring. The pilea was more resilient than I thought! I love my new pilea family!

I purchased this plant from the Treasure Truck and didn't really know much about it prior. It's a lovely plant and so far it's still alive. We've had it for almost three months now and it seems to be healthy and flourishing. It's relatively low maintenance and we haven't repotted it yet, but it was pretty root bound when we received it so we will probably have to do that soon. The pot itself was somewhat disappointing. From the pictures, it was difficult to tell but the pot is a basic plastic one colored to look like it might be ceramic and sisal or something. It's nothing special and definitely worth throwing away once the plant is repotted. The plant itself is more what you are paying for. It has grand, giant green leaves which will naturally lower and fill out beautifully once you unbox the plant. It comes in a cardboard box that's about one foot by one foot by four feet....i'm kind of guessing but it was around that size. It was a challenge to transport in my Jeep but not impossible. It would be much better to have this item delivered to your door and just unbox it at home and place it where you'd like it. From what I understand, these are plants which really enjoy a lot of sunlight so make sure you have a spot in your home that is bright and cheery to place the plant. It's not a small plant and it will need a pretty good chunk of space once the leaves fluff out. All in all, it's lovely and healthy and i'm very happy with the purchase. I'd get another one!

***Update*** I have had this plant for less than a month and it is dying. The soil was very wet when it was shipped and I think it has root rot. I am hoping to save it by changing the soil and allowing it to dry but I am not hopeful. First, I want to say kudos to Costa Farms on their packing! There was LITERALLY five layers securing this plant! The flyer that came with the plant said there may be some soil spillage. Let me tell you, I don't see how a speck of dust could have spilled out of place! My Pilea is a little droopy but I am thinking it is because it just had a pretty rough journey from Miami in the back of a UPS truck. I am hoping it will perk up with a little TLC. The stand the pot sits on is very simple but seems sturdy enough. The pot itself was a bit of a disappointment. I didn't expect it to be just a decorative. The plant comes in a nursery pot that sits in the white pot and the white pot doesn't have a drain hole. Other than that, it's a perfect purchase! My reviews always reflect my honest and unbiased opinion of products. I rely heavily on reviews when I purchase a product so I understand the importance of an honest opinion. I am beyond impressed!!!! If your a plant lover like me RUN to buy from this company!!! First off you CANNOT BEAT THE PRICE ANYWHERE. SECONDLY YOU WILL RECEIVE A GORGEOUS, HEALTHY, LARGE, STUNNING PLANT that you just can't and wont believe just came out of a box from Amazon!!! I have to be honest I wanted this tree soo badly. And reading the mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect. I thought I was most likely going to get a half dead plant with leaves and branches broke. Nope. I opened the box and was beyond blown away. Honestly. It arriving super fast, it was packaged wonderfully and it's just Gorgeous. If your looking for any plant Buy from this company. You will not be disappointed, in fact your most likely be kicking yourself for not buying from this company sooner. I am beyond thrilled to have found this amazing company and will be a life long customer.
