Great Baffles! Have to cover the vertical gap though.
This works great at keeping everything but birds off the feeder. HOWEVER, you have to cover the very small vertical gap.We have had 2 of these installed since late November 2022. And we have not had anything but birds at our feeders since they went up. But, in the last 2 weeks we have had 2 birds get a foot stuck in these. One was a red breasted nuthatch that I saw and was able to take apart the baffle while holding the bird gently to ensure I did not injure them. They lost their foot and and have not been on camera again yet. We have so many in the trees I haven’t been able to spot them yet.A week later at a different feeder pole a finch was stuck. I had taken down the feeder to clean it that morning. It was drying and I heard a commotion from the crowd who have become protectors of our family. I went to see what was going on. The finch had gotten a leg stuck in the baffle and I can only assume the crows had a bit of a small snack or practice for the young ones. Thankfully the crows and I are symbiotic now, so they were ok with me removing the rest of the bird and disposing of it.I wash these down regularly with a bleach solution just like I do all of my other outside bird equipment to prevent spread of disease and then thoroughly rinse. They have held up very well. They are easy to clean, easy to put together, and easy to take apart. Mine have faded slightly now with almost 3 years of use in bright, direct sun for about 3 months and then constant drizzle for most of the rest of the year.I am currently contemplating if I should use duct tape or if there is a better alternative to covering the vertical opening at the top of the baffle. I don’t think there is a need to cover the gap for the entire length, but the top few inches is necessary.I would buy more of these. We are discussing what our next feeders will be. If we go another pole route, these will be the baffles we get.

Works Great! COVER THE GAP!!!
I bought 2 of these in 2022 for my bird feeders and they work WINDERFULLY to keep the other critters off the feeders. Since installing these, we haven't had a single squirrel, raccoon or possum succeed in climbing up to the feeders. We live in a semi rural town and our yard backs up to several miles of woods and farmland, so we get fuzzy critters in our yard all the time. So the work great for that! But...tonight we had to rescue a small bird who was hanging upside down with his itty bitty feet stuck in the gap where the two sides connect on the squirrel baffle. The two sides don't completely connect and leave a slim gap that's just big enough for their tiny feet to slip into and he couldn't get them out. He was able to fly away, but he did end up losing part of a toe/claw. We ended up putting duct tape over both baffles to cover that gap in hopes to avoid this in the future. And both baffles on two different poles had the same small gap. Engineering error? Just wanted to throw this out there so buyers are aware. Works great, cover the gap.

HOPPING MAD
This product has made the tree rats hopping mad. Not one squirrel has been able to get at my feeders since installing the iPrimio Deluxe Squirrel-Raccoon Stopper. Many have tried, none have succeeded.I had as many as four squirrels up on my feeder at one time (one on each side, on on the roof and another on top of the pelican hook). They could empty a completely full feeder in a matter of two hours or so. It takes birds a little over two days to do this same thing plus the squirrels tore up several previous bird feeders that I had put up. No more though. Every now and then a new squirrel will come by. It will start to shinny up the pole but stops when it can't figure out any way around the stopper.Installation was breeze and took me about three minutes to accomplish. My bird feeder pole is the 1/2" wrought iron version. The mounting collar which I trimmed to length fits fine and holds it place on the pole really well. After wrapping it tightly with the included Velcro strap I could not slide the collar up or down. I did go ahead and augment their installation procedure by adding two cable ties just in case. The first one I wrapped as tightly as possible around the now attached Velcro strap. The second one I wrapped around the pole just below the mounting collar as additional insurance that the mounting collar wouldn't go anywhere. I also put two short pieces of clear packing tape on the bottom vertical surface of the stopper on each side spanning the seam. If a tree rat should get inside the stopper this prevents the squirrel from forcing the bottom part below the wire collar apart. SimpleIn short this is that better mouse trap (no pun intended) that comes along every now and then. If I ever put up more bird feeders on poles this would be the first thing that I would do to the pole.Everyone have a great day out there and happy Mardi Gras to y'all.

Great baffle but PLEASE take this precaution!!
I purchased this baffle in May of 2023 and have had no problems with it deterring squirrels and chipmunks. It takes a bit of finagling to get it installed but it works well.I am writing this review as a warning. Today I discovered a young male downy woodpecker with his foot stuck in the tiny space where the two plastic pieces meet at the top. His foot had gotten stuck in the seam and unfortunately he bled to death. I didn’t notice it until it was too late. I used duct/duck tape to seal the seam wrapping it down inside the top. I will check this frequently to make sure it holds and replace it as needed. It’s a great baffle and does what it’s supposed to do, but unfortunately this happened and I want to make sure everyone who buys this is aware of the hazard and seals the seam as I have. PLEASE take this precaution and keep your birds safe. Thank you.
