For an older machine using IDE drives
works as designed. Got here quick via postal express

Drive didn't work.
During installation I got the blue screen of death of trying to load windows. Message said it couldn't proceed since the device was bad and might cause damage to the computer. I couldn't get the drive to work.

not as noisy as expected. orks nicely, so far.

Mine went bad, probably my fault
Had errors and dos 6 wailed on it causing it to get hot. Formatted to fat16 with nt 4 and it stayed cool, but the damage was done and it is degrading, probably my fault. If it hadnt overheated the bad sectors would have marked them bad and went on.
