Easy to fit and stop the winder been turned from underneath with mole grips. But if they want your van 10 seconds with a cordless grinder and there offJust something else to slow them down

Extra caravan security is always a worthwhile investment. These are good, well made locks that secure the legs in place once lowered to ground level. Milenco quality brand. If you have (like most modern vans) a 'skirt' with insert hole in for leg winder to the front legs then these would be difficult to apply and use, but can easily be fitted to the more accessible rear legs. Unlike some other leg locks that just cover the winding nut, these have a built in flange that actually secures the lock to the chassis, so the leg cannot be wound using mole grips or similar one these are fitted. Any caravan security is worth it.

As an additional deterrent they are both sturdy and practical. Well made product.

I suspect that a determined individual with a angle grinder would make short (if noisy) work of these and I would not recommend them as your only security measure.However, coupled with a good wheel lock these might make a crook think twice. Easy to fit and store. I like the fact that they don’t rely on a grub screw to clamp onto the steady nut.Also came as a twin pack which I was not expecting which makes them good value.

Arrived very quickly and were installed within a couple of minutes (took longer to get the packaging off!). Seem very strong and much quicker to install than the other kind ... might get some of those for the front steadies? A friend told me these are what stopped his caravan from being stolen ... after the thieves had got the hitch-lock and wheel-lock off, they gave up with these. So must be worth adding to the arsenal of security measures we are required to have in today's world?

Fits caravan legs gust fine

I bought these as another lock to stop would be thieves from nicking the caravan. Easy to fit, I dont think it will stop the guys with grinders and blow torches, but its just another pain in the bum for them so hopefully move on.

Ich habe dieses Schloss bestellt, weil die Schlösser ab BJ 2006 nicht auf meinen WW passen. Insofern hat das Produktbild schon erahnen lassen, dass dieses Schloss passen könnte - hat es auch. Die Montage gestalte sich beim ersten Versuch etwas schwer, weil man erst verstehen muss, dass sich im Hohlraum ein Sechskant ( analog zur Schraube ) befindet. Kurze Drehung wie bei der Nuss, schon passt es. Ebenso das Gegenstück, welches im Blech eingehakt wird. Beide Teile sind mit sehr engen Toleranzen gefertigt, d.h. ein verklemmtes oder verrostetes Blech oder eine mit Rost "vergrößerte" Schraube kann schon dafür sorgen, dass das Schloss nicht mehr passt. Diese Eigenschaft sehe ich aber als positiv, da es die Möglichkeiten potentieller "Gegner" eher minimiert und es die Räuber noch schwerer haben. Über die Materialeigenschaften kann ich nichts aussagen, aber insgesamt machen die Komponenten einen wertigen Eindruck.Würde ich wieder kaufen.
