This set not only looks good, it feels great! So snuggly and comfortable, it really is our favourite set. We have had similar sets before and always found they go bobbly or scratchy after washing, and having cats we often get pulled threads from catching on their claws.... this set isn't doing that yet and has survived a couple of changes of bedding without becoming tatty, which says a lot with our cats!!We have washed it twice and the softness hasn't declined as drastically as you would think, it is still soft to the touch and very snuggly, with no signs of bobbles or drastic colour deterioration but the red is definitely more muted after washing. And yes, we used fabric softener which can often be a death knell for fluffier material.Admittedly it is not as bright and vibrant as when you first pull it out of the packet but it has not faded between washes 2 and 3 and the slightly muted tone adds to its charm and pattern - one unfortunate thing is the red does run when you wash, so just be warned you may get slightly pinker sheets like we did if putting all together in one wash!The fastening held when in use, keeping the duvet inside - a bit of an issue we have found with prior sets purely as one of us budgets a lot in bed and the fasteners on many duvet sets tend to come open and the duvet starts sliding out, but these held.In terms of staining etc - one of the lovely fur balls we have threw up on the duvet cover - it washed out, hasn't stained and the duvet cover actually did stop a lot going through to the duvet as it's quite absorbent so a bit of an added bonus.Pros - absorbent, warm, softCons - red colour leaches when washing, fades quite distinctly on first wash

I washed this before I put it on the bed for the first time. Material is lovely and soft - very warm. Unfortunately it’s not well made. The pillowcases aren’t very square on the corners. One of the pillowcases needed sewn before it could be used. The duvet cover had a hole in the seam (see photo) where it had been stitched too close to the edge & hadn’t ‘grabbed’ all the material. If I’d wanted it for use throughout the year I’d have been gutted but it’ll do for the Christmas period.

Whilst quite expensive I guess you get what you pay for. We use this on top of the matching duvet set (bought elsewhere). We don’t use a particularly high rig of duvet so the throw is a great addition and also helps with weight as I like to feel my bedding on me. The brushed cotton feels lovely and is super soft. And I like the fact that’s it’s double sided. Would also use over a plain white red or grey bedding set

Nice heavy set but had to wash it twice on arrival to remove strange oily smell probably from packaging or dye? Glad it eventually came out. Fits well though. Snug.

So happy with this!! We don’t want to get out of bed in the morning, it’s perfect for the winter time so soft and snuggly and so warm, good quality and good value, plus it looks great 🤗

Product purchased for guest bed. Looks exactly like the picture so very pleased.Nice and heavy. Fitted duvet very well. Am sure will be very cosy.Only put thro rinse cycle and ironed while damp as recommended but needed a good steam ironingto remove creases.

Item arrived well packaged and on first inspection was of a good standard. It was washed on arrival and it ironed quite easily. However, i have just washed it for a second time after using it and the stitching is coming apart along the seam. It's a shame because it feels lovely to sleep with, the material is soft and it hasn't bobbled at all, yet. I will sew the seam and hope it doesn't come apart again.

It’s like sleeping on the clouds (or what I’d imagine that to be like), finishes off the bedroom nicely!
