I bought this for multi-purpose fixes. I bought an over the door rack that was wobbling on my door due to the door having an insert in it. The foam padding offered the perfect amount of support to keep the rack from wobbling and protecting my door from scratches. It was easy to cut and apply to my door. It has a strong adhesive on the back that was stuck on very well! I also used it to insulate around my window AC. In the AC pic, the black line at the top is the foam padding. There was a hole there where bugs could come in and air flow out. The foam works as a great plug for the hole. It was easy to install and keeps the cool air in. No more bugs coming in through the window either! It works great for what I needed! Thanks!

We have a drafty upstairs window. I used the adhesive strip to bridge the gap between the window panes and the draft is all but gone now! I never knew that room had such good insulation. It honestly helped tremendously for the winter months. The only downside was that the paper would tear/split and not come off as a whole strip. I’d have to go back and peel the little pieces up to where the rest of the backing made it. Otherwise, it was pretty adhesive and straightforward. I haven’t tried to remove the strip yet, but I could see that being a problem since it’s really very sticky. I think some goo-gone would probably remove any residue left on the plastic or window.

I bought this because I needed to create a seal at the bottom of one of the doors to my house. You can see in the "before" photo that light (and probably other things) was getting through the door while shut. I just cut maybe 8-12 inch strips and kept adding them until everything looked good from the outside. The glue seems strong - I wasn't able to slide or adjust the strips once I made contact with the door frame (I did wash and dry the frame first, just in case). The most important part for me was that the foam was soft and squishy. I don't know how else to describe it. I needed it to be squeezable since I was using it on a door frame, so I need the door to still actually shut normally. The door closes with pretty much the same amount of force as it needed before I added the foam, not forcing the door shut or pushing extra hard to lock. Very happy with this foam, and it's great to have a bunch left over in case I need it for other doors or windows.

Only works ok. It’s not very adhesive and I had to use glue with it to help secure it.

This stuff is awesome!! For the price point I wish I would have just got this first from Amazon rather than Lowe's!! Worked absolutely great for what we used it for.

Works well, no issue getting it to stick. I used it to seal my truck tailgate.

I bought this to try and insulate our sliding doors for our shop. Its a big metal building that once was used as a heavy machine shop for the farmer that lived here. I didn't think it would help save as much money as it did but my mother says it was reflected in our heating bill. As the grass starts to grow I am opening the big doors almost daily to cut the grass and so far the foam tape has remained intact on the door, will definitely buy more when i got to replace them.

The adhesive protector was really difficult to remove otherwise great purchase
