What can I say... I love it!!
First of all, I have to say if you don't find Miranda the TV series funny, you're not going to like her stand up tour. So don't buy this DVD and complain that it's not funny or boring etc.If you're a big fan of Miranda's sense of humour then this DVD is for you!! It's so much fun and it's guaranteed that your face will end up hurting due to laughing so much. She really engages with the audience and gets some audience participation during the show, what I think is key for a stand-up comedian then the audience feel included and have a better time.As a vivid Miranda fan I have watched her three series, god knows how many times, and I've realised that she has used some of the same gags that she's used in her TV series what was a tad disappointing but none-the-less, this DVD will not disappoint. The end of the show is filled with a wonderful video tape which I personally think was an excellent way to round off the show.Let me put it this way, if there is anything with Miranda Hart it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and deliver a bucket of laughs - without a shadow of a doubt, it's worth a buy for a present or a special treat for yourself.

Not a patch on "Miranda - the series", despite many of the same jokes ..
Loved, loved, loved the TV Series "Miranda" so thought I'd enjoy this... unfortunately stopped watching half way through as so much of the comedy was taken from her sitcom, but even that didn't seem funny when being used as stand up. Firing up the DVD player with my Miranda Series box set... thatll have me laughing in no time!

Thank you, Jean Spleen
If you are fan of Miranda Hart's BBC sitcom, you'll be right at home with this DVD as it's very much in the same vein. Miranda is highly entertaining as she relays a string of anecdotes about the hilariously embarrassing real-life situations that she has encountered. The audience shots are very revealing - about 90% female, but from a very wide range of ages, suggesting that women young and old share Miranda's outlook on the obstacles presented by modern life. I laughed out loud and sang along (yes there is singing) several times. Such fun! And far better than the final two episodes of the TV show, which were a let-down (in my opinion).

Britain's Leading Comic Lady
A great performance by one of Britain's leading ladies in comedy.Taking a novel approach to her show Miranda Hart blurs the lines between panto and standup as the audience participation and video packages leave you reeling with laughter whilst the content of the jokes will have you doubled over. For serious Miranda Hart fans there is a lot of duplication from the tv show but that in no way devalues the set or the jokes. She finds a way to spin fresh angles on tried and tested jokes that can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages.

Disappointed
I love the sitcom, and have read her auto biography, but didn't really enjoy this dvdIt may be a case of 'you needed to be there' to enjoy the show...On DVD her voice was very shouty, and I got bored by the 'sameness' throughout, her tv sitcom is lively and colourful, In this dvd she is In one outfit throughout with mostly a plain backdrop. She does a lot of physical gags though which are still funny, but kinda lost on a huge stage. So in summary, she was the same old miranda, but not in a format that imho showed her off at her best.

We all really enjoyed this as a family
We all really enjoyed this as a family, however there were certain bits that were just repeated from the series. Because my kids had watched the series SO OFTEN and I am usually in the background listening to it, the story lines are literally stuck in my head, therefore some jokes seemed like shortened versions of the series. But still funny!!!!

The kids love her
My teenage daughter and her friends love Miranda, although they were a little disappointed with the Christmas episodes. All in all, I bought 3 of these for 2 of her friends and one for her from her brother. Having watched it, she now wants to see her live, so I have to keep an eye out for that.
