Definitely brings much hoped-for relief!
I've suffered with moderate psoriasis of the scalp for most of my 57 years! I've been to dermatologists for years and have received all kinds of topical meds for the condition. The latest treatment I've undergone is the X-Trac treatment. This treatment consists of targeted light therapy in a doctor's office. The problem is you must constantly go for these treatments for best results. At first, you must qualify for the treatments. The dermatologist offering the treatment (not every one does; mine doesn't) must verify through the company that produces the X-Trac procedure that you've been under long-term care for the condition either with them or another dermatologist. You wait approximately 48 hours to see if you're qualified to receive the treatment, and if you are, then you set up your first appointment and pay with each visit whatever your specialist co-pay amount is. After so many treatments and you're in it for so much money, they reimburse you (I got $300.00 back) and then the rest of the treatments are free. Best case scenario is the condition goes into remission. Remission, if it occurs, can be months, weeks, or days. Then you must start up again. If you have your doctor sign you off the treatment after remission and then experience a flare-up and have to resume treatments, you'll have to go through the entire qualifying/payment process again, so it's best not to let the doctor sign you off too soon in case you experience a flare-up....the entire process is a vicious cycle. For me, this is an impossible schedule to keep. I would have to travel 20 minutes through town at least twice a week, pay $2.00 each time to park, and navigate my way through a crowded parking lot garage and hospital for what amounts to not much relief. One evening, following a treatment, I decided out of curiosity to browse through psoriasis treatment options on Amazon and found Dermarest. I figured it was worth a try; I'd tried everything else. This topical is a clear gel with no real scent. At first there is a noticeable decline in itch. Then I noticed that instead of the fine scales scratching would produce, there appeared something akin to a slight peeling which eventually disappeared. There was no discomfort or redness with this reaction and I believe that it was due to the loosening of the scales and not actual peeling. My scalp feels hydrated and because the itch isn't present, I don't think of scratching which had been becoming a habit, itch or not, as I'd been doing it for so long. I can feel a real reduction in the scaling which has me thrilled! The gel doesn't affect my hair as far as making it greasy and there's no medicinal odor. And to think that this cutting-edge X-Trac treatment didn't do what the Dermarest did....perhaps if I'd gone as often as was recommended, the X-Trac would've worked, but I just couldn't keep up with that schedule! If you have severe psoriasis, maybe Dermarest might not be enough; it still would be a terrific product to use, though, in conjunction with other prescribed methods of treatment. For someone like me, with slight to moderate chronic psoriasis prone to flare-ups, Dermarest fits the bill. Although Dermarest is no cure (as anyone reading this knows there is no cure for psoriasis!), I highly recommend this wonderful product in keeping this nasty condition under control. I haven't had this much relief, even with prescribed meds, in.....forever!

Works great for me.
I get dermatitis on my scalp. It becomes itchy, including in my ears, and if not treated my hair starts falling out. Dairy and sugar cause this. Mainly dairy, as I barely have any sugar. I am not sure if it is an allergy thing? My dermatologist provided me with Ketoconozole cream and shampoo. It just isn't the healthiest. This shampoo works better for me and isn't as harsh. Still only apply to the scalp. Let sit and then rinse. If you have long hair, try to avoid it rinsing through the ends. It is very drying. Maybe do a non silic9ne treatment on ends when done or let your conditioner sit to protect ends of hair.

No more itchy scalp
My daughter suggested this, and it works. I was having a lot of itchy scalp areas with Head and Shoulders just after my shampoo! I lather up with head and shoulders 1st and my second lather is with this and I let it sit about 5 minutes then condition and rinse. I go about 4 days without an itchy scalp! Yeah! I rinse and condition about every 3 days so this is perfect! I wash my hair once a week unless I wear it no protected in a afro.

Worked good
This particular psoriasis shampoo was great in that it kept a layer of skin building up on scalp so fast.

I like the product. This time there was leakage from the caps being loose.
I like the product , and have ordered before. This time there was leakage from the caps being loose and some product lost in packaging. You need to check the screw on caps.

Very soothing to my scalp
I keep this in my bathroom shower for when my scalp gets irritated. Nothing works as well as this does. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy, but it does keep it from being frizzy. I love the ingredients. The salicylic acid and the Teatree oil are a great combination.
