Love!!!
I love everything about this, I'm so glad I got it. Nice size, great detail, finish is nice. Over all I just love it, and she loves being in the window. No fading an no tarnish as of yet or rust or anything. I say this because I live in Oregon and yes it really does rain ALOT hear, we shall see how she does when we go back to the high desert of Colorado, she will still be in my bedroom window, the sun is a bit more intense depending on which way your facing the mountain's.

Amazing energy!
Wow. This statue of Kuan Yin is really stunning in person. The details are thoughtful and the casting is finished really nicely. It arrived in perfect condition and was boxed beautifully. I cannot stop staring at all the details and we are so happy to have this representation of Kuan Yin in our home. Absolutely worth every penny.

Gorgeous
This little statue is exquisite, there is a ton of fine details on the lady herself, the moon is lovely and the characters are on both sides. She was packed securely in her own styrofoam filled box. It’s made of resin with a bronze finish. This statue is a great deal for the devotee.

So beautiful
I fell in love looking at this, it looks even more beautiful in person. It's a good size for table or wall etc. I wish it was a little bigger like maybe the size of my cable box. But this is still a good size. I just like it to be bigger LOL...

Gorgeous, but only half the sutra
This is a gorgeous rendition of the classic Chinese Kuanyin (= She who hears--kuan, the cries/sounds--yin, of the world), the Goddess of Compassion. It is well made and looks beautiful. However, as a person who reads Chinese, this piece only contains the characters of only the latter part of the Heart Sutra, NOT THE FULL Heart Sutra. It doesn't have the title nor the classic "form is emptiness, emptiness is form" lines. It's like putting the latter half of the Lord's Prayer onto a statue of Jesus or something.Traditional Chinese is read top to bottom, right to left. The far right side of the front of the moon, the first column of characters, begins with the section of the sutra that goes (in English):"And no non-attaining"Because nothing is attained, the Bodhisattva through reliance on Prajnaparamita is unimpeded in his mind."Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid,"and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind."Ultimately Nirvana!"All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain supreme awakening through reliance on Prajnaparamita.Prajnaparamita of course is "supreme wisdom." The backside of the moon begins the Chinese characters of these lines:"Therefore know that Prajnaparamita is a Great Spiritual Mantra"a Great Bright Mantra"a Supreme Mantra... (etc.)...and ends with the classic Heart Sutra mantra (usually spoken in Sanskrit: Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhisvaha), but in Chinese characters. They are the last 18 characters of the last three columns on the far left backside of the moon.OK, many, if not most folks, won't care about this... but for those of us who've studied every line of this classic sutra of Buddhism, having this otherwise gorgeous piece come with only HALF the sutra, is disappointing to say the least. Can anyone say, "Chinese capitalism"?
