Saw a similar one that was advertised heavily. This one does the job. Easy to open a wine bottle and then the wine saver vacuum pump really works to keep your wine fresh if you don't finish the bottle, which is rare... Seems to be of quality construction. I gave several as Christmas gifts this year and they were well-received.

I was skeptical about this but thought I would try it as I liked the idea. The "kit" comes with a foil cutter, pour spout, vacuum stopper, and, of course, the air pump opener. I like that the needle portion has a protective plastic cage around it. The needle inserted through the cork easily and pumping a few times did, indeed, remove the cork. It was quite easy and kind of neat to see. The plastic cage also has a plastic washer which you use to removed the cork you just freed from the wine bottle. As of now, I have nothing negative to say about this air pump cork remover

I drink a lot of wine and this opener is fabulous. Recently it seems the corks just break apart even though my wine is stored correctly. The needle slides in easily and a few pumps and the cork pops out and the cork isn't falling apart. I really recommend this opener.

Good Christmas gift for people who like wine. Easy to use and pack up for tailgate or picnics. Cork pops out very easily. The bottle sealer isn’t as quick as easy as I expected. Takes a lot of pumps to get the air out.

I kind of thought this was going to be just a gimmicky product. I was wrong. This product works flawlessly! And it's actually kind of enjoyable, because every bottle of wine is like opening a bottle of champagne! You wait for that pop! It's so incredibly cool, I wish I had found this decades ago. For the price you can't beat it.

it works well 50% of the time. it seems to struggle more with Kirkland branded wines.

Gave as gift during Xmas because I already own one and they are very effective to use. As there is only manual-caused air used to open the wine using this, there’s no concern for it blowing off when holding the base with the other hand while pumping. Just takes about two pumps and no strength needed. Great little tool.

Grandson told us about this style and is great to entertain with the pop!

Does it work? Yes Does it work as advertised? Not exactly. I bought this immediately after I saw it on 'Sommelier tests 13 wine opening gadgets' on World of wine on bon appetit. It looked amazing. Easy to use, convenient and clean. Also, I was amazed by the 2 pump opening. So what happened when I received it? Foil cutter -> Great. Lovely. Stick the pin in -> easy, works well. Pump, pump, pump -> nothing happened. uhoh. Pump, pump, pump -> still nothing. Ok, what am I doing wrong. pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump -> I see 1mm of the cork stick out. yay, making progress. pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump, pump -> 5 mm of the cork moved up. pump, pump, pump, pump -> another 1mm, and it looks like it wants to keep moving. pump, pump, pump, pump, pump -> major movement, the opener feels warm and the instructions say to let go and let it cool down. And I made the mistake of letting go. Oh no! This is the champagne cork moment. The cork and the opener pop out of the bottle and hit my ceiling, and land on my head. Shamed.
