Keeping my RV Batteries Alive through Winter
I ordered these (2) heating pads after watching a Youtube video regarding keeping LiFePo batteries above freezing, as this is required of these batteries. I bought 2 of these heading pads, and have installed 1 of them directly to the side of my 4x100Ah battery bank (using the adhesive backing to attach them directly to the sides of the battery. Even though the pads come with a thermostat that turns them on when temps dip below 40F, I installed the pads through a temperature controlled relay (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09531FDPN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). So far, the temperature within my RV has dipped below 20 degrees, and the batteries have remained at about 38 degrees. The heating pad is drawing about 70 watts when it is activated. If the 1 heating pad is not enough to keep the bank above freezing, I will connect the 2nd pad to the opposite side of the battery bank (then will draw 140 watts). Trying to avoid running down my battery bank, in the process of keeping it alive. So far, the heating pads have worked well. I hope to give another followup in the Spring.

It Works
A bit expensive (for me, anyway), but I don't think it's unreasonably so.Can't tell quite yet if the temp control functions as it ought to, but I'm not too concerned.I did fuse it and I did put an on/off switch in the circuit because I'm using it for an off-label use: as a battery warmer for a standalone solar project. (Right after I ordered this I saw a YT video on Will Prowse's channel where he discussed this very use.)Anyway, I already have the smaller version in another project (lithium battery-powered, remote weather station) and it works great.Bottom line, consider this item.5 stars.

Did not work and my tank froze and cracked. UPDATED REVIEW
DO NOT BUY! This company does not stand behind their products. I bought these for my RV tanks and one did not work and my tank froze and is now cracked. The company says that they will not pay to fix it because their product failed. Poor business practices when a company wont stand behind their products Yes I installed them properly I have been doing this kind of work all my life. UPDATE! After posting this review I was contacted by the owner of the company. After a short phone conversation he said that they will compensate me for the damage is done to my tank. Frank was very nice and wanted to do the right thing. I want to be very clear I have used dozens of their tanketers and have only had 2 fail and only one caused damage. This company makes a quality product and they stand behind it when something happens and at the end of the day that's what really matters. They paid to replace my grey water tank that was damaged and apologized numerous times for the inconvenience. Thank you for doing the right thing and standing by your product. I will continue buying their products. Thanks guys!

Worked well
These helped keep my black and gray water tanks from freezing while living in my 5th wheel during construction of my home. Kept them from freezing through a Montana winter with extended periods of subzero weather. I did have the trailer skirted and insulated as well.

Good heaters
Heaters worked great, prepped area with running alcohol, and then applied the adhesive. Draw exactly their rated current and switch on and off appropriately. Used on 3- 25gallon tanks and 2-38gallon tanks. No freezing so far down to 20 degrees.Wires seem to be good quality, appeared to be pure copper and not copper clad aluminum (CCA) which is greatly appreciated in this application.Just seem a bit more expensive. Would like to see them come down 5-10$

Maintains proper temperature
This item was used in a Class C motorhome with batteries located under the stairs, which are in an heated area. The heat pad was tested in an exterior temperature of 33 degrees F and kept the batteries at a constant 57 degrees F. WARNING: The sticky side is extremely sticky and I recommend peeling off the protective covering only a few inches at a time as you adhere it. Once it is on, it is on! I recommend this item.

1 pad works 1 pad doesn't
Wired them up and 1 pad works and pad does not.The one that works feels warm. The one that doesn't work has no heat. Both wired off 1 switch to come on together. So I had to use my heat gun to drain my shower this morning. Had do deice the gate drain.I can't peel it off to return it since Its super glued on now. (Adhesive is STRONG)2 star since both don't work.Next time I think I'll try the 12x18 pad instead

Heavy power draw.
Kinda messes with you when you forget these are connected to your system and you see a sudden voltage drop and uptick out of nowhere lol. I use these to keep my lithium batteries warm in my van.
