Really well made wooden xylophone! So many of these are plastic that I was surprised to find this wooden one and it is well worth the money. It is a good size with a solid base and feels like it will last a lifetime. The colors of wood black and white are far nicer than the red and blue ones that are most common. It makes the perfect lovely bright sound and I am happy to add this to my xylophone collection! Really happy customer

Sounds elegant

I wanted a nice, simple musical instrument to play whenever the mood struck me.

I do like this Xylophone and it is the first one I have purchased. I had a nostalgic moment remembering how much I enjoyed playing with it as a kid. It is fun but I find myself wanting something bigger with the capacity of the notes on the xylophone sounding off louder and drowning out the sounds of the drumsticks coming down. I am not a professional player. I am not even sure if that exists but that is what I would like. Would I repurchase this for myself? No, but I would repurchase for a child interested in learning how to play.

Perfect for my 10 year old granddaughter. It has a beautiful tone, the natural wood & metal is more pleasurable to the touch than the usual cheap plastic, and the black & white (metal) color scheme mimics the keyboards of pianos and other keyboard instruments, so there should be some transfer of skills to other keyboard instruments. AND this is a quiet little instrument that won't drive parents or apartment neighbors crazy!!

This is a good quality sturdy instrument which is great for students. I wouldn't say it is professional quality, but for what we needed it for (elementary school homeschool music). I am very pleased. I like that it isn't plastic, the base is nice quality wood, and I like that it has the notes written in Solfege and letter names, which suits our purchase. Would buy it again!

I am a retired elementary music teacher, who is now homeschooling a kindergartener and a 2nd grader. They LOVE the new glockenspiel, and want to use it during free time as well as during structured learning. It easily covers their entire vocal range, and I love that it includes the chromatic keys on a separate row (similar to piano key arrangement). Even though the bars are not removable, this placement makes pentatonic exploration easy. It comes with two wooden mallets. Highly recommended!

the upper level kkeys are a bit small and a little difficult for a novice to hit accurately. Gen a decent instrument for the money.
