Delicious!
I love these bars, they are really tasty, have a good cake like texture and the icing part is lovely. My favourites have to be carrot cake, caramel, coconut and red velvet. I love that they are low in sugar as well so are a great way of getting my cake fix. Good protein level as well. I also like that they come in 2 pieces so I don't have to have the whole bar at once.

Umm...Nice, But Weird...Not What I Was Expecting
I've really got to give 'Battle Snacks' their due, they've really worked hard to get a creative range of flavours out there, whilst keeping the amount of sugar alcohols they use to a minimum (according to their ingredients label, it's used primarily in the chocolate coatings). And I think they've usurped Grenade from their title of 'Best Protein Bar Brand'. My favourite is definitely the 'Caramel Pretzel Crunch' flavour, but I really wanted to try this 'Carrot Cake' offering from them, because...well...who doesn't like carrot cake? (Weirdos, that's who; weirdos!)And I probably went into trying this bar with too many preconceived notions of what a protein bar designed as an homage to a particular cake (not a recreation of the whole cake experience) should entail. Of course it's not going to be soft and spongy (although 'Battle Bites' are some of the softest bars out there) and the whole carrot cake vibe is going to come mostly from the spice flavourings and the way it's coloured. These taste like someone just recreated a synthetic version of those spices and put it into a bar dyed orange with a white chocolate coating. It's not unpleasant, but it can be a little chemically jarring upon first bite, if you're expecting that fresh carrot cake flavour. It's a little weird, but if you've spent any time trying to work your way through the sea of various protein bars out there, you'll know how companies create various flavours and varieties, often without being able to include any real ingredients. Flavours can be hit or miss, but I actually think that this 'Carrot Cake' bar from 'Battle Snacks' does a really good job of capturing the essence of how a carrot cake tastes, whilst it not being anything like an actual cake.Whilst not my favourite flavour, I'll definitely buy it again. Probably more in the autumn months, because for me it evokes those sorts of flavour associations. It's a clever creation, tasty if a little strange, but good value for money and another great offering from the 'Battle Snacks' team. Try it if you're looking for a more interesting protein bar flavour, but just don't judge it against an actual carrot cake.

One if not the best tasting protein bars on the market.... PhD have just released their smart cake bars which gives Battle Bites a run for their money.... Both are a little expensive but you only get what you pay for.... I would thoroughly recommend both, need to try other flavours but carrot 🥕 cake in Battle Bites is as good as it gets

Great tasting protein bars
As someone who gets through a lot of protein bars I can say this brand have nailed it. I’ve tried the coconut flavour but these carrot cake flavour are superb. No sticking to the roof of your mouth, great flavour and I am genuinely excited to eat them each day. Off to buy another box!

Tastes great
One of the nicest protein bars I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot! A lovely sweet treat with 20g of protein and not too many calories.

A pretty average protein bar
Taste: It does vaguely resemble carrot cake. It's a little sweet though, and if you're expecting it to replicate a nice, moist carrot cake with frosting, it'll fall a bit short, particularly on the latter.Texture: Quite dry, and there are lots of finicky, hard/dry little slivers (what I'm assuming are supposed to be carrot) which just go all over the place as you eat it, and the stale chewiness of these slivers isn't particularly appealing to eat either.Overall, if you really love carrot cake, this may be enough to satisfy that craving as a relatively-healthy alternative, but the texture leaves a little to be desired.
