10 Full-length Movies on 3 DVDs, in a limited edition 3D "Pop-Up" Sleeve!THE APE (BORIS KARLOFF): THE APE brings together two legends of horror, FRANKENSTEIN star Boris Karloff and THE WOLF MAN writer Curt Siodmak. Karloff stars as Dr. Adrian, a man who becomes obsessed with curing paralysis when he loses his beloved wife and daughter to the disease. Desperately trying to cure a crippled neighbor (Maris Wrixon), he discovers that he needs human spinal fluid for his vaccine - but how to get it? When an ape trainer at a local circus is badly mauled, the doctor allows him to die so that he can tap his spine. The gorilla escapes and goes on a killing spree terrorizing the small town. A cult horror classic, THE APE was Karloff's final film for Monogram.BELA LUGOSI MEETS A BROOKLYN GORILLA (BELA LUGOSI): Comedians Duke Mitchell and Sammy Petrillo encounter mad scientist Dr. Zabor on a South Pacific island. The doctor is maniacally jealous of anyone who expresses an interest in the beautiful native princess, Nona. When Duke and the princess fall in love, Zabor subjects the comic to his fiendish experiments and turns him into a singing gorilla. As the newly transformed ape runs wild on the island, Sammy must find a way to remain human himself while searching for a way to restore his partner to normal. Bela Lugosi seems to enjoy sending up his screen image and Petrillo's imitation of Jerry Lewis is flawless.THE GORILLA (BELA LUGOSI): A maniac known as "The Gorilla" is terrorizing the community and his next target is wealthy insurance broker Walter Stevens (Lionel Atwill). Hired to investigate the menace are the bumbling gumshoes Harrigan, Mulligan and Garrity (the Ritz Brothers) who stumble through Stevens' mansion in a hysterically clueless stupor. Bela Lugosi (as the sinister butler) and Lionel Atwill are priceless in spoofing their own screen personae in this suspenseful, comedy-filled old house thriller.THE APE MAN (BELA LUGOSI): While engaged in a bizarre evolutionary experiment, scientist Jonathan Brewster (Bela Lugosi) is transformed into a hideous ape creature. Desperate to reverse the process, Brewster must acquire human spinal fluid. With his murderous gorilla henchman in tow, the pair sets out on a killing spree in an effort to affect a cure. Living up to his reputation for economical directing methods, director William Beaudine delivers a classic of the horror genre with often surreal comic overtones. The mysteriously psychotic Lugosi character combined with the "special effects" that only a costumed gorilla can deliver, make for a thoroughly entertaining hour of oddly seductive cinema.BRIDE OF THE GORILLA (LON CHANEY): Overcome with passion and desire for the beautiful and sultry Dina Van Gelder (Barbara Payton), plantation manager Chavez (Raymond Burr) is driven to murder her husband. Having spurned one of the locals for the sensual blond, he becomes the victim of a curse by a voodoo priestess. "He shall be like an animal," she proclaims, thereafter transforming him into a gorilla whenever he enters the jungle. Lon Chaney, Jr. stars as the local commissioner with a respect for native superstitions who attempts to prove that Chavez is a murderer. This ultra-serious, grade B horror film by Curt Siodmak delivers another view of the metamorphosis he made so famous with the masterpiece THE WOLF MAN.THE SAVAGE GIRL (ROCHELLE HUDSON & WALTER BYRON): Legend tells of a mysterious dark-haired white woman deep in the African jungle, a goddess who possesses great power over wild beasts. Famed hunter Jim Franklin dismisses the story and plans a trip to the dangerous region to capture wild animals. Financing the trip is an eccentric millionaire, Amos P. Stitch, and guiding them is an unscrupulous explorer named Alec Bernouth. The hunting party captures a ferocious lion, under the unseen gaze of the white goddess. The leopard-skin clad beauty releases the lion from its cage, but is caught in a trap set by the hunters. Her striking beauty captures the heart of Franklin, but Bernouth has more insidious intentions for the girl. Banished from the group when his attack on her is foiled, Bernouth plots his revenge by enlisting the help of hostile natives who would like nothing more than to kill Franklin and the girl. The goddess must rely on her extraordinary powers to save them.THE WHITE GORILLA (RAY CORRIGAN): A rampaging white gorilla terrorizes the jungle, brutally attacking anyone in its path. Steve Collins, a seasoned safari guide, is severely mauled by the powerful ape. Somehow, he manages to drag his broken bones to Morgan's Trading Post where he relates a bizarre tale of hidden treasure, a strange boy with supernatural powers and the savage albino creature that nearly killed him.LAW OF THE JUNGLE (MANTAN MORELAND): Archeologist Larry Mason's African expedition is derailed when an American singer, Nona Brooks, bursts into his campsite seeking help. On the run from Nazi agents, Nona leads them deeper into the jungle in her attempts to outrun the spies. While hiding out in a ghastly cave decorated with human skulls, Mason and his assistant, Jeff Jones (Mantan Moreland) come face to face with a savage gorilla determined to add their bones to his collection! After escaping the bloodthirtsy ape, the explorers are surrounded by an army of savage tribesmen who capture them and prepare to sacrifice Nona. Jeff charms and jokes his way free and risks everything in a final attempt to spring his friends and thwart their enemies.WHITE PONGO (RICHARD FRASER): The Missing Link Found! London explorer Sir Harry Bragdon (Gordon Richards) and his beautiful daughter, Pamela (Maris Wrixon), arrive in west Africa seeking the mysterious albino gorilla that may be the bridge to human evolution. They organize a safari and embark for the dark depths of the untamed Congo. During the trip, Pamela becomes infatuated with Geoffrey Bishop (Richard Fraser), a dashing hired rifleman who harbors a secret identity. Their quest takes them through savage jungle where they must overcome deadly beasts, hostile natives, betrayal and murder in their pursuit of the mighty White Pongo.NABONGA (BUSTER CRABBE): An embezzler and his daughter crash their plane in the jungles of Africa. Young Doreen (Julie London) is the sole survivor and befriends a gorilla, Samson, who becomes her guardian. Ray Gorman (Buster Crabbe) is out to clear the name of his father, who is falsely accused of stealing the money. Ray is unaware that he is being trailed in the jungle by scheming couple Carl and Marie (Barton MacLane and Fifi D'Orsay) intent on stealing the treasure that is guarded by a White Witch and her ape companion. The parties clash in double-crossing treachery that unleashes the fury of Samson. NABONGA borrows from KING KONG and the "gorilla gone wild" pictures of the era and is a classic tale of beauty and the beast.

Old Old Old films!
These are some very old films and were no where near box office successes, however for the price to get this amount of films is absolutely worth it! Next are all the movies in this collection bad movies? Absolutely not! Now while not all are for everyone, this probably has a few goodies for different people. On top of getting so many films for a gloriously cheap price, you get an amazing collectible box they come in as it is a pop-up-case (pop-up-book style) and just awesome to display!

I bought this because of the Original King Kong with Fay Wray, Bruce Cabot and Robert Armstrong. It had some legends in them. Bella Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney, Jr. How can you not want to see these

This is not quite up to Roger Corman style,
I expected it to be just as it was. Raymond Burr turning into a Gorilla and running amok was worth the price.Seeing "Crash Corrigan" in a gorilla suit is always entertaining.

Fun Movie but had some flaws.
Fun sequel to King Kong. Had a good time watching it! Loved the little guy. Where was the female to create him? Just seemed to rush through the movie with a lower budget. Ending was a disappointment. It was very rushed and not too believable without revealing to you what happened. But I still loved the movie!!
