Glo Skin Beauty Pressed Base Powder Foundation Makeup (Golden Dark) - Flawless Coverage for a Radiant Natural, Second-Skin Finish

I’ve loved this powder forever. Most days no foundation is needed. Great for everyday use.

I've tried and continue to try different foundations. Nothing covers as well as GloMinerals with regards to avoiding some horrible ingredients that other brands with full coverage contain. I am a purist and so there are some ingredients I'd rather take a break from using but haven't found anything that comes as close as good to the pressed Glo. I am pale with yellow undertones, this may be slightly more beige on me but it matches fine enough. Sometimes the alternative of being too yellow is less natural than using the more beige tone this foundation offers. I don't use the sponge applicator. I use the Elf flat top foundation brush and apply in circles... did I say how amazing the coverage is? It can look a little cakey if you have textured areas but often spritzing with a mist/water can eliminate that and it is the least cakey looking out of every brand I've tried. This makeup lasts a long day, if oily, you may need to blot after a few hours to avoid wiping makeup off but even then the coverage is good. Cons: Sometimes I'll get 1-2 microscopic red dots that look like blood (pin head size), quite concerning and so I think it may be a reaction to an ingredient. I can say that my skin heals from a breakout faster when I where this makeup than if I don't, which goes against most advice you would receive. I highly recommend.

Update: I had used the sponge that came in the compact before my last review. I noticed the package suggests a kabuki brush. Giving it one more shot, I sort of buffed a lot less powder into my cheeks using little circles. The coverage was way better and I didn’t get the weird crepe skin on my forehead. This pressed base works better than I initially thought and I up my review to 4 stars. It just takes some gentle buffing and light amounts of product. I’m willing to admit when I’m wrong. Original review: I’m in my late 30’s and have mild aging on my face. Mostly fine lines with a couple stress wrinkles on my forehead. This base covered the two acne spots I have, but completely made my lines and wrinkles worse. It even made part of my temples look like crepe skin!!! Around my eyes looked 10 years older.

I love Glo Beauty Skin pressed powder foundation. I have been using it for over 10 years. It has never caused my skin to break out and I often go to bed with it on because I'm too tired to wash my face before bed. I get compliments on my makeup and how beautiful my skin is all of the time. I just wish it would last longer.

Product is amazing but how do you suppose to apply on the go if there is no sponge included. I like to carry this in my small purse and reapply in the day if needed! Now I have to carry a separate applicator, makes no sense! Bring back the applicator!!

I use as a face powder after using only moisturiser.

Great make up . Good if you are prone to spots or blemishes . Highly recommend !

I love Glo, i wasn't a makeup girl before using this product. The mineral content is adequate so its worth the money. The rest i have purchased claim to be mineral makeup, but mostly because they have minerals in it and they still made me break out. Glo is water resistant so you have to use a cloth or scrub to clean your face (which you should anyways lol) but i can go swimming and come out with my makeup still on which is a great sell for me lol its a pressed base powder but its all that i use... golden dark in the summer and golden medium in the winter. i won't use anything but Glo!

Love it ... has great coverage Even on old wrinkles. Works on dry skin with oily patches.
