True Blood - Complete Season 1-7 [DVD] [2014]

If you're reading this then you already know what the series is about, my review is in response to those who have had issues with this Blu-Ray Edition.I've been watching each episode/disc in full, as it's been awhile since I've last seen this wild, sexy and crazy series, and I will tell you it works perfectly in my DVD/Blu-ray Player.No issues so far, picture is crisp and audio great. I'm guessing either others had an old model player (mine is a Sony and 1 year purchased) or purchased this Non-Region edition but for whatever reason did not play in certain countries?Whatever it was/is, this box set plays great here in the U.S. and well worth the upgrade (I had bulky DVD Seasons prior, to the now better quality and less space taking Blu-ray Edition).

Loved this box set!! I’ve ordered box sets before that were damaged or dinged up, but this one came to me in pristine condition. Every case had these plastic pages with 4-6 discs in them and all were great. I can’t tell u how many box sets I’ve bought that had broken pieces that made the discs not stay in place when u close them - so frustrating! But this was not the ‘case.’ Also Love that there were more than a handful of languages for closed captioning to chose from in the setup. Each season is a separate case and each case had a ton of bonus features that were a lot of fun to watch. When I ordered it, the set came in record time and we watched every single disc in about 2 months. I wanted to wait until we watched every disc before writing a review, just to be thorough. I would highly recommend this set. It played just fine in our blu ray player here in the US. Had no trouble with any languages or closed captioning whatsoever.

Awesome series, and every disk played perfectly. Of course, I've learned through the years, how to handle compact disks. There wasn't a crack anywhere on the cases, and this series is unforgettable. I just finished watching it for the second time, and the ending seemed completely new to me. The characters and the acting was suburb. It had vampires, werewolves, fairies, shapeshifters, gays, lesbians and mutations. Lots of nudity and sex scenes with some beautiful actresses and handsome actors. It is a must see if you like modern, well made, sci-fi movie series. I don't know why the title here says season 1, but it is 33 disks, so obviously it isn't season one only, but the complete box series, at a great price. Thank you.

I absolutely loved the True Blood Series. Buying the blu-ray complete full series was definitely worth every penny. The quality of this set was too notch. The story is fantastic!! And the actors are all great! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be happy, you'll be mad. I do warn you that this isn't for anyone under 18 years old. There's lots of steamy love scenes along with some harsh language. Buy it for yourself. You won't regret it!

I was so excited to start finally watching it, after our stuff has been packed in PODs since we have moved. Bought the series in March, started watching in November… very disappointed ☹️, upset and even angry. This is one of the most amazing series, I love them, and rewatch them every year. Now, I cannot return this since it’s been so long, but every season in the set has at least one DVD that doesn’t work and they usually contain 3 episodes. So, yeah, don’t waste your money!

The Blu ray disks work fine but are a little on the thin side . As for the storyline , what is not to like, Blood Mayhem and Sex......weard sex at that...

After reading other reviews about product/packaging damage and non compatibility with Region A bluray players, I was really nervous about purchasing this BLURAY set. First thing after receiving my order, I checked for any damage to the product/packaging and found none. Everything was in perfect physical condition. Next, I played the first 30 seconds of each chapter and everything seemed to play fine (in English). You should note, we haven't watched any episodes completely through, nor have I checked any subtitles or special features. I just basically tested every chapter of the set, so if a problem existed I could return the set instead of waiting after Christmas and being unable to do so. Unfortunately, this was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my wife but I insisted she open the gift early in order to inspect and test the product. We are using a Samsung UHD bluray player that was purchased about 8 months ago. If you read the bad reviews, notice that most playability issues are of the DVD set.

After reading many reviews I was a little skeptical. Most reviews spoke of languages, and cases. I found the cases to be very good quality and well made. The languages- I didn't notice any problems there either. Being clinically deaf, using the closed captions, or subtitles is a must for me, so at beginning of each DVD I'd automatically correct language to english, and sub titles to english... never had a single issue after that. I have watched the entire set and very happy with the purchase.
