Expensive but satisfying.
Expensive yes, but an extremely satisfyingly perfect fit to the gear. Sturdy yet super lightweight. Hopefully keeps my cat from trying to colab.

It's made of pretty study plastic and fits the TR8 perfectly.

Does Not fit the TR-8S
There was no 8S model available, so I assumed the 8 would fit. It does not, it rests on top of the machine, can't be used for transport or storage. Otherwise, it looks nice and feels very solid.

Looks fantastic
Very good quality and looks fantastic. The only downside is that there are some very fine micro scratches from machining along some of the curves. I noticed them when I first took the cover out of its packaging, but I don't really notice them when it comes to daily use. Aside from that it looks great. Since the TR-8 is a great looking machine, it's nice to be able to protect it with something that displays nicely.

Expensive but works.
It's an expensive piece of plastic but it fits perfectly and does the job well. It also can apparently support the weight of my cat who likes to constantly walk across it.

It feels like I want it to feel when It grips the edge lip tight and snug. My wife is not able to do that any more and I’m not allowed to even look at any upgrades.

it's only OK; for what this cover costs I expected PERFECT dimensions, but in reality it stands a bit higher on one corner of my 808. still, not many alternatives... also it doesn't cover the lower sides
