Sharp and efficient.
The media could not be loaded. I have a Hamilton brand scraper handle that accepts 100mm blades and it made short work of removing old wall paper back in the day. Fast track a couple of years, i'm running out of blades, they occassionally snap.I put in the new Draper blades and tightened the screws. Wow. Again made short work of flaky paint on the bathroom walls, a much better way to prepare the surface than sanding because only the loosened paint will come off.I also then scraped down a kitchen unit where our old dog called Cash, after Johnny cash (R.I.P) would have its drinks bowl next to the bottom of the unit and splashed it everywhere, causing the faux wood print to peel. I scraped off the old design which was a medium challenge because the rest of it was like new, glued on with heavy duty adhesive, The draper blade got through it, and the single Draper blade survived, it's still sharp as well. Sometimes it's useful for sharpening pencils while doing woodworkSo you get 5 blades in a pack. In my opinion this 2 part scraper design is the best and no need to worry about any sharpening methods, just recycle and replace blades as and when required. You get a nice plastic case for the blades, ususally the packaging will get thrown away but this prevents them being loose and cutting your fingers when picking them off a flat surface.Very good blades. I would buy again and reccommend especially for paint work preparation, offering a flake-free flat surface to work with.
