Chemex Square Natural Fiber Coffee Filters (100ct Box) Seamless, Folded (FSU-100)

I am so happy to have found these CHLORINE/BLEECH FREE. That really annoyed me when I brought my chemex that most places only sold the white bleached papers. AND THEN LIKE MAGIC, these guys are selling NATURAL PAPERS on Amazon. it makes so much difference. It tastes better for a start, but it also saves you time in the morning because you do not have to spend as much time soaking the bleached filters to get the bleach out before you start the coffee making process. I don't understand why all companies Coffee and Tea companies with there tea bags, why do they have to soak everything in Bleach and heavy chemicals???Please keep selling these as I will be re ordering :)

// UPDATE: I wrote to Chemex who mentioned that their papers should not have any aftertaste. I purchased my papers in September 2018 from a retailer called "Flaavor". Hopefully batches from other resellers won't be affected. //These 100% impart a slightly funky taste to the coffee you brew with them - which is still very apparent despite me washing the absolute heck out of them with boiling water before brewing. I've tried them with many many different coffees, I've used them for a whole year, and the taste is always there and isn't with any other brew method - it's coming from these papers.It's not an awful taste, just its own funky signature, but I won't buy them again for this reason...I'm using nerd methods because I want to taste the coffee, not the paper!

Love these filters, no chemical bleaching or taste on the paper.When you have dialled in your grind correctly this paper removes all the bitterness and oils from the coffee leaving a clean flavourful coffee.Papers work out at 10p each, can’t complain at that price.I won’t be using any other papers.

100% would recommend! These filters, unlike my old Kenco filters, NEVER split and are don't effect the taste of the coffee. They filter much faster than other brands *cough* Kenco *cough* and they are easy to remove from the Chemex. They fit perfectly and are just all-round a great filter for the Chemex!

I ordered these filters as they were supposed to be neutral and they should not add any flavor. The actual filters smell like pages from really old books, and it adds a bad taste to the coffee. I am disappointed as these are supposed to be original Chemex papers.
