Great player
Great player for the gym. Convenient clip. Easy to load and use. Resumes place with songs. Great sound once you replace the stock headphones. I love it.

Very small. Very durable player.
I have an older sandisk sport clip zip circa I think 2010? thats not in the image above and it still works to this day 12/10/2022. The only problem with it is that it struggles to play my more "HD Music". So I got myself an updated sansa clip jam this past october. The good- can handle m4a, ogg, FLAC without issue- very tiny player that can clip to my polo shirt collar or polo shirt sleeve or just in my pocket if its not appropriate to have an mp3 player hanging on my person- decent 10+ hour batter life- one of few "SD card" capable sansa mp3 players out there and lets me put 256Gb of music in 1 teeny tiny player- unlike some of the other players (eg. the AGP Tek) when you click next it will skip to the next song, and when you click back it rewinds the song. Good quality of life upgrade compared to other playersThe "could be improved"- micro usb? not my favorite but I can adapt- no bluetooth? well its a tiny player, its not perfectI mean its a 30 dollar mp3 player and for the price it is able to do 99.997% of the things advertised. What more can I say?

Excellent MP3 player
This gets heavy use, I wear it on hikes, running errands, pretty much whenever I'm outdoors, it's on (except when driving of course). Sound is excellent, I tossed the earbuds it came with, I use over the ears Sony headphones. Very easy to download music from Windows, also easy to navigate the controls. Very small & light, I stick it in my shirt or pants pocket. Battery life is great, I can go a long time between charges. Only bad thing, which others have noted, is they tend to die after a few months. I've had this happen a few times. But at this price point ($23), no big deal. I order 2-3 at a time. So far, this current one has been great for several months now. If it dies, I'll just toss it, and move on to the next one.

This doesn't do anything I want it to do.
I can't figure out what Sansa is trying to do. I loaded several playlists: Music of 40's and50's, two Mozart concertos, each in its own playlist, and one podcast with three separate hours. I didn't get playlists. I got Bobby Darrin, followed by Ging Crosby, then Mozart 21 Allegro. There doesn't seem to be any way to organize the music so you can get three movements of Mozart 21, in order, and the pop music in the order in which I carefully stored it. The three podcasts simply didn't load. O ;padded ot frp, W<P, but I don't see any way to move items from the PC onto the clip. My 3 year old Sansa Fuze loads from WMP keeps the classic and popular playlists separately and runs podcasts in order: Moday Hr 1, Monday Hr2, Monday Hr 3. But, it apparently is in need of a battery and Sansa no longer supports it. I can't understand why their other products don't provide similar features. This is my second Clip. The other stores music playlists in order, but won't keep podcasts in playlist order. I can't return it,as the parts have moved into my inventory and I wouldn't be able to include the correc cable and headphones. I am just absolutely angry at Sansa for the deterioration of their products. It is extremely difficult tofind a player description on Amazonthat alerts you to the success of WMP with the player. I have returned one other player and have been searching for days to find one that will load playlists from WMP.

Excellent soundstage, pretty good navigation, volume a bit weak - excellent customized equalizer
I've enjoyed this SanDisk model for years now and preferred it over other players because it has a deeper soundstage via the customized equalizer than some competitors. This said, the volume needs to be turned ALL the way up to project adequate sound, which isn't a problem, and the menu navigation goes back to the main page instead of one-window at a time. Also, the card feature scrambles albums together if they are similar. "Titanic Anniversary" 4-cd set became two albums on the card, somehow. But since the sound stage is so expansive I've selected this player for years. Other players such as AGPTEK have a similarly good sound quality and don't have the aforementioned encumbrances, today, however.

Good when no other choice
Stops on the middle of song. The lock is not holding in the pocket

Obviously not tested
I regret getting this refurbished product. The audio was very poor, lots of static. Unusable. Moreover, the vendor is cheap and won't cover the cost of returning the defective device. Will not purchase from this vendor again.
