The Original Slinky Walking Spring Toy, 2.75-inch Diameter Metal Slinky, Fidget Toys

got this metal slinky for my 5-year-old, and it’s been a huge hit in our house! His favorite thing is pushing it down the stairs and cheering it on like it’s in a race. It’s sturdy, shiny, and has that satisfying clink-clink sound that brings back all the nostalgia. Unlike the plastic ones we’ve had before, this one doesn’t tangle as easily and actually makes it all the way down the steps (most of the time!). Simple toy, endless giggles—definitely a winner in our home!

I bought these for my son’s stockings at Christmas time, and they still get them out from time to time play with them. They haven’t gotten tangled or bent yet! Any toy my boys still enjoy six months later is a hit to me! I also feel it’s educational as they will try to get the slinky to “walk” down steps they make on their own! Better than a video game!

We have been battling squirrels getting into our birdfeeders and destroying them for a couple of decades now. I have tried absolutely everything in the book, and none of it ever worked. The squirrels always managed to win our battle and destroy my birdfeeders and eat all the seed. Putting these slinky’s on the bird poles actually works. I was completely shocked. It’s probably the cheapest solution we’ve ever tried, and the only one that worked.

Very durable and the kids had lots of fun letting it roll down the stairs!

Used for a reward for one of my students in my classroom, the only thing is it does gets wrapped around each coil easily!

Quality is not that great, it got tangled so easily and my children didn't have it for that long.

I did not get this as a toy. I put a tall shepherds hook through it, pulled it to the top and attached it so that it hangs down. The squirrels will not try to climb it anymore to reach the feeder hanging on the hook. Just what I wanted!
