Fast PC desktop for anyone. May not be the best for gaming. It will start slowing down on a big game.

fast quite does everything I need

This is my second ASUS desktop. I should add that I am not a computer expert, just someone who does a lot of blog reading, etc. Windows 8 was new to me (and I think it is horrible), so when I cranked it up it took me forever to find "uninstall" and deal with the crapware that had been preloaded. It was just unbelieveable: Maestro, Pro PC Cleaner, affiliated tech support companies, Macafee, Crazy Score and others popping up every five seconds even though you clicked not interested two dozen times before. At one point I had a stern woman's voice coming through my speakers telling me all the pop up stuff indicated I had a computer infected with a virus. Is this how Asus treats its customers? I'm through with ASUS after this experience, and I don't suffer from the illusion that other companies are likely to be any better, but I'll look around until I find one that is less idiotic in its customer relations.

Purchased to replace a horror story from a refurbisher. This unit arrived on time and within a few minutes, I had it online and humming. Very easy setup and no problems to speak of so far. I would prefer to have fewer things trying to sell themselves to me, but I suppose that is out of Amazon's control. Everything I have tried to do so far has worked as expected and very, very fast.

OKay. Freight was Fast

Have not had any issues 1 month into owning this model. Tried to put its tits through the ringer by running chrome (with multiple pages open), Photoshop,and go pro studio simultaneously and it did not seem to slow down. For what it is worth I would consider myself a light user in terms of creating content (Photo / Video editing) and intermediate on the technical level (Dabble in web design).
