This is a great alternative if you are looking to reduce plastic use. Since I wash primarily in cold water I was worried about using a powder. I use it in 2 machines and it dissolves completely in one machine’s detergent cup, but in the other machine I need to add it in the tub when I use cold water. I find that I need to use only 2 tablespoons for a medium load, so it is very economical. I’m giving it 5 stars even with the dissolving problem I encountered in one washer, since pods don’t completely dissolve in that machine either, I probably can’t blame the detergent.

Works ok but it spilled soap everywhere when I opened it and doesn't stay closed after opening. If i knew id open over the washer next time so any spillage could be used on the next laundry load lol. No scent, saw other people say there was but theirs probably absorbed nearby scent in storage before they got it or something. I really dislike the packaging, I have very little kids(1 and 2) who try and get into it, I keep it out of reach but when under feet all day I have to make sure to immediately put it away or they'll get to it the second I turn my head.

I love this detergent. There is no scent and it’s great for my sensitive skin! I would say it’s a bit pricey, but worth it for people with sensitive skin.

Great price and yes - it is unscented. It does not say unscented on the package so I was leery, no problem. Powder is in a cardboard package so we're avoiding using unnecessary plastic packaging! Will definitely buy again.

I was having problems with detergent buildup in my baby’s cloth diapers when using a liquid detergent. I switched to this Tide powder clean and gentle, and I have not had the same issue since. It gets our clothes clean, I recommend it.

I recently had an allergy to scented detergents/beads so I switched to this. My clothes smell clean even though this is unscented. It dissolves great even in cold water. And my skin is happy! It was cheaper than Walmart for the same size too!

BEWARE: This product is NOT fragrance-free, as advertised. If you have allergies or are sensitive to fragrance, this product is not for you. The website marketing is misleading— the box itself says nothing about being unscented or fragrance-free. And the fragrance is SO STRONG, I could smell it as soon as I opened the Amazon box; I didn’t even need to open the Tide box (which makes returning it easier, thankfully).
