Works great, priced right. Wired or wireless works great. I love that you can update the firmware and add a custom logo, just reach out to company. Also has a usb a port for wired CarPlay and a micro sd card for music. Works great, no lag, great screen, very happyOnly con is the usb power supply is proprietary. I tried using 3 other, high wattage usb c chargers and non worked. The charge is HUGE and the cord is SOOOOOO long, I wish I had another option

The media could not be loaded. Like:•Quick and responsive, doesn’t take forever to change pages, media, maps, etc•USB-C cable and aux cable are good quality, don’t feel cheap.•good mounts, suction cup or adhesive.•Simple, I didn’t want a dash cam on my CarPlay, this was the best option I found by far.Dislikes:•Screen is reflective and hard to see when it’s bright. Screen also isn’t slick, your finger doesn’t move fluidly when swiping.•You’ll have to dig through the settings for a while to get the home button removed, as it isn’t clearly labeled.This is a great investment for getting GPS, Music and messaging in an older vehicle. I hate all the cameras thrown in on the other bundles, so this is absolutely a no brainer!

The device works great for the price, but I should mention it stopped working after about a month. I'm still leaving a 5-star review because Carpuride support was quick to send me a replacement after I could prove purchase and a video showing them it doesn't work.

It’s working great so far I decided to get a different mount tho one that goes in the cd spot and works great

Easy mounting installation and configuration through iphone carplay. Requires re-reading the instructions carefully. The self contained speaker works with playing the music or sound from the iphone, but it is not a spectacular sound. I have an older car so there is no wireless speaker to connect to. Great for using ios map and directions. I have not tried connecting a rear view camera and how it works as I don't see any options for it in its settings.

The media could not be loaded. Before you assume I am not tech savvy, I've been in the IT field since 2000. I manage 31 remote locations, including the Corp office. We also use iPhones/iPads as our standard mobile device. I usually avoid hardware at this level, so I researched and Carpuride was given great reviews here and in forums. Sadly, it does NOT live up to these claims, and I worked with the day after I set it up nearly 3 weeks of back-and-forth emails. Each time they want a video of what your issue is. One thing to note, on the boot up screen, I now know why they have their support email address as the first thing you see.Bench tested this and CarPlay works when using its built-in speakers. AirPlay does not work at all.I installed in my 2015 Ram 1500 w/Uconnect and well, it’s been a disaster ever since.CarPlay worked, however, after 5 minutes it would drop connection. I used the AUX cord for a bit, then decided to open a support ticket. This should work!! I do not want to use the FM transmitter; those have low quality sound and only work in certain areas before you need to pick another station.AirPlay is NOT really AirPlay, it’s ScreenMirror. All you’ll get is YouTube and whatever your web browserswill play via AUX cord only.I've been emailing their support; I provided them with all the info and videos they. Keep in mind they are not even close to USA time zones, which is fine, but also a PITA.Support sent me updated firmware to install, and CarPlay would stay connected, but now messages do not work. When I select a new message, it sits there, nothing happens, no audio, nothing… then it goes to unread. If I press it again, it sits and does nothing again.Their next step was to reset everything. Remove the Carpuride WIFI and BT from your phone and restart your phone. Then do a factory reset (pin hole in the back does nothing, it’s in Settings).After the reset, I readded CarPlay BT as directed on the screen it connects but nothing happens. Now CayPlay DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.Now after working with their support, it’s a brick. I’ve wasted 3 weeks with this POS device, it’s going back as defective. I wanted this to work, it fit perfectly in the dash and for the 3-4 days it worked, it was exactly what I wanted.I would AVOID this and be cautious with Carpuride in general.
