This is a great product! My ice machine had some hard water build up and after running the clean cycle a few times, I was able to clean it up to almost pristine condition. I love that in this one order I have enough of the product to clean my machine once a month. The cleaning process couldn’t be easier. Simply drop the tablet in the water reservoir and run the clean cycle! I will definitely keep this product in my must have list. I will most likely try some of the other Active products that are shown on the card received in the package.

I never thought I’d be raving about an ice machine cleaner, but here I am! I use a countertop nugget ice maker every day (I’m a little obsessed with that “Sonic-style” ice), and after a few months, I started noticing a weird taste and cloudy ice. I did some research and came across the ACTIVE Ice Machine Cleaner and Descaler, and wow—what a difference!The tablets are super easy to use. I just dropped one into the water reservoir as directed, ran the cleaning cycle, and let the magic happen. Within one treatment, the funky taste was gone and my ice looked clearer than it had in months. I also love that these tablets are nickel-safe—my machine is not cheap, so I was really careful about what product to use.The fact that this is a 1-year supply (24 tablets!) for under $20 is incredible. I clean once a month, and I can tell it’s already making my machine run more smoothly. Bonus: no weird scent or chemical smell—just fresh, clean ice.If you own any kind of ice maker, especially a countertop or nugget style, do yourself a favor and grab this. It’s a small investment that makes a big difference. I’ll never be without it again!

I love this brand, and when I tell you these tablets cleaned my countertop ice maker thoroughly, I was impressed. I used my electric kettle to get the water hot and used a tablet, it was great. Now I ended up having to use two and running two clean water cycles in between because of all the gunk....yeah it was gross but my ice makes no longer gets that way with monthly cleaning from these tablets.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had no idea how dirty my machine was. When i saw the rust. I couldn't believe my eyes. This product cleaned my machine almost to brand new. No rust maybe a few stains left. The product was run through a cleaning cycle 3 or 4 times until i was satisfied. Then i made ice out of the product 3 or 4 times to get the product into every crevices. Now i have BEAUTIFUL ICECleaning ability:Not sure i my machine was bad but it was to me. Rust in places i couldn't get a cleaning tool. With each use, one tablet per round. The machine would have floaties that i would throughly rinse and repeat until satisfaction. I used the cleaning function 3 or 4 times over the course of a week. Then i made ice for a week one tablet each time full rinse after to insure the product cleaned properly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I had this yellow orange grime in my ice machine. Pretty sure it’s from the kids squirting Mio near by with the ice machine open. Anyways I tossed one of these tablets in it and ran 2 cycles and the grime is gone!! I wiped it down and it looks brand new! Highly recommend

I bought this to clean our new Opal ice machine. These come individually wrapped so it’s very convenient and it ensures the freshness of the tablets. They dissolve quickly in water to make cleaning the machine a breeze.I prefer these tablets over a cleaning solution because it eliminates bulky bottles of cleaning solutions in my cabinets.

I messed up on my portable ice machine and used bleach to clean it out, the metal oxided to a black color that was hard to remove and I used a tablet and had the ice machine run it for 2 days straight and it's white again. Super happy about it I don't need to buy a new machine. The rust on the metal even fell off too

These work well as advertised. Only difference for me was I ran two final clean cycles after running the original cleaning cycle with the tablet in it to make sure everything was completely removed. Also found another product to use these. I have a glass, electric kettle that develops some film in it over time from the hot water that's difficult to remove with just a dish soap cleaning. Putting one of these tablets into the kettle, completely filling it with hot tap water and allowing the tablet to dissolve and sit for about an hour did a great job at cleaning this film on the glass. Then washed the kettle with dish soap, ran two full boiling cycles to clean out anything that might be left over and discarded that boiled water. Happy with the results of both uses of the product. The regular price of $20 is too high. But, if they would lower the product's price point down to $15 or $16, it's worth it. So, unfortunately not quite 5 stars.
