Does the job!
Works great, lid on mine doesn’t snap that great, but I secured it with the bracket and strap. As others mentioned, yes it is oversized, but this is handy to tuck extra wiring. Allows me to store other items in my boat without fear of shorting out the terminals. I forgot to drill a couple holes in the bottom before installing. I recommend adding a few drain holes to let out any moisture that develops inside.

Beautiful design. Will last a lifetime..
I was pleasantly surprised to get this box and feel how high the quality was compared to what I got at the auto parts store previously. The cover securely latches on each side and the latches are integrated into the cover. No more cheap external latches that eventually break off from opening and closing the unit. Like all Nico products, this is of the upmost quality.

The battery box fit my renogy 12 volt 100 ah /20 hr battery very well

More durable than auto-parts brands, but cable openings too small
Much more durable (thicker)than the auto parts store version I was using. But still had the same problem as others, the openings for the cables are way too small for multiple thick stiff battery wires/ cables going to each terminal. The cover won't fit over all the wires, so I plan to cut and enlargen these cable opening.

Perfect buy
This is perfect for what I needed. My battery fit perfectly, it was easy to install and lock down. The design made it easy for me to get my wires in and out of it. I would recommend it. It was money well spent.

Check measurements before buying
Check the measurements before purchasing. These are about 1 1/2 inches wider than the battery itself. Perfect for rv or places not tight on space. Great value wish these fit in the tight compartment in my boat
