Stansport Wool Blend Camp Blankets

Windproof, strong, heavy and very warm blanket. They weigh about 4 pounds each and they are really dense. They are a mix of nylon and wool so they have to be cleaned carefully. They also have a funny, petrochemical smell when they are unboxed. The smell goes away spontaneously, but it is annoying.If you want to use this blanket to make something like a shirt, their are a good choice because the edges don't fray.Overall, they are just great blankets.

Perfectly good and warm wool blanket. I've used this a ton so far. I really tested it when I rolled it up around me while taking a nap in my hammock in about 40 degree weather with a gentle steady breeze. Once I was wrapped in the blanket I was warm and passed out hard for a good nap. I was pretty surprised by that warmth. I have also used it on hunting trips, hikes, and other outdoor adventures. It has done well through everything I've put it through. After I've slept in it after a few days of hunting I just lay it out over the tent or truck and the sun cleans it and it smells just fine.

Nice blanket for my Bug Out Bag! It does have a slight wool & chemical smell like other reviewers said but I don't mind it. I will only be using it in emergencies or when I go camping so I doubt that I would smell it while being outside. Like you really have to shove your nose into it to smell it…not sure how some people said it stunk up their whole house lol ignore those reviews perhaps. It is 55% wool and feels heavy duty however it rolls up great and attaches to my book bag straps with ease and without adding much bulk. Serves it's purpose well.

I like the blanket and the price because I got this for my dog, yes my dog. I go tent camping a lot and this blanket is big enough to keep him warm together with a camping pad. I tried it before using it on him and kept me very warm and cozy. Happy with my purchase.

Very functional wool blanket. Not very pretty, so I wouldn't use it as a topper on my bed. Would be great for a trunk blanket for emergency, or a picnic perhaps.

This blanket Preformed, like my old army blanket good as a bottom layer , or great for a heavy top layer. I take it on every camp trip

Bought this to protect the seats in my Jeep from dog nails, does the job. It’s not nearly as thick or heavy as a military blanket. As far as camping or whatnot I’d call it medium weight.

Excelente producto, la textura de la tela es muy agradabl y la manta es amplia. Es un poco delgada pero permite que guardes el calor sin llegar a ser voluminosa. Al momento de abrir el paquete la manta tiene un aroma a textil tratado, con colgarla un tiempo al sol es suficiente para que el olor desaparezca. Esta es una excelente compra, compre dos para uso en casa y estoy pensando en comprar otras dos para tener en el coche como manta de emergencia.

Definitely one of the best values for a blanket. Has a good weight to it, comfortable and warm. Bought it for camping, but ended up using it on my bed. Out of the bag, it does have a strong smell as described in several reviews (almost like ammonia, lingers in the throat), however after a few days of using it as a main blanket, the odor subsides almost completely. I have taken care not to put it in the washer, as the instructions do mention it should only be dry-cleaned.

It is warm on top of another blanket. Very scratchy. Looks and feel like it will fall apart within a year. Don't recommend this. Overall looks like scrap product that was blended together to make this blanket. Make a good dog blanket but for humans no.

Es de buena calidad aun que su peso es mas de lo que esperaba pero se mantiene su calidad y retiene la temperatura corporal es amplia y facil de doblar.

Great blanket. I did notice a very slight odour like others have said, nothing crazy, in fact, I’d say it smelled like a wool blanket generally does. I washed mine on delicate and dried it on the delicate cycle, smell is gone and it’s auper soft now. I think it’s an outstanding value and a great blanket. Plenty big enough for two if needed, and lots of blanket to wrap up in for one.
