Does the job but doesn't hold up over time
If I would have reviewed it when I first got it, it would have had 4 stars but it just hasn't held up. I got it when I was 3 months pregnant for water aerobics and it was a little baggy in the belly area, which was to be expected. I do have large boobs for my frame (I'm like a 36-F... yikes) and didn't feel very supported in THAT area but I'm pretty used to that issue. I was just so glad that it fit me at all! However, I'm at 8 months pregnant now and I've used it at least 2-3 times a week during this time... and it is about to fall apart. The inside it ripped and it's really stretched out. I though It'd grow into it but it has lost its elasticity and so it's still baggy and unsupportive. I only have a few weeks to go so hopefully it can last until baby come this month! I haven't over-washed it either and I also throughly rinse the chlorine out. It got me through most of my pregnancy though and I'll be glad to get into a different suit soon!

Love these!
Swimming has always been one of my favorite forms of exercise, but since becoming pregnant it is my key mode of exercise. I was struggling though since my usual suits were getting too restrictive to the belly causing problems both with getting them on and with breathing. I looked both in local stores and online and the most popular suit I found was the EQ Swim Harmony. After trying one these on in person at a local store, realized that was not going to happen - no top support at all and with one level of thin material, is is practically see through on top (like your nipples aren't obvious enough when pregnant without this). The aquasphere was a fraction of the price and has been fantastic. Still could use some more upper body support but at least this has 2 layers of fabric over one and the belly portion is great both for now and for future growth.

Nice concept but short torso
I checked the size chart and ordered appropriately but the torso still feels too short. I started wearing this at the beginning of my 3rd trimester and it just hasn't fit right. I considered ordering the next size up but the bust was already too big and the empire waist didn't really pull the suit in because the whole thing was stretched top to bottom. The adjustable straps were not helpful here. An improvement would be to add a horizontal strap across the back level with the empire waist to help keep the pull from the belly panel from extending to the shoulder straps.I'll still wear it because right now it's all I've got for swimming laps, but I wish it fit better! The material is comfortable and I like the belly panel, but it needs some thicker lining up top and a better fit across the back.

only a maternity suit will do
Okay, so I tried on about a dozen other swimsuits at Big 5 and Target in a quest for something large enough to fit my growing bump but still fitted enough to swim laps (not just splash around). Non -maternity suits are just not designed for pregnant women. I am happy with this suit- I paid more but it works well. I originally ordered purple but returned it for black because the darker color better disguised the inner lining and my "outtie." I would only remark that if you are long torsoed or tall (over 5'9"), this suit may feel a little short, but the straps are adjustable.

the tummy coverage is good [double lined] and the cut of the legs is ...
I purchased this at 7months pregnant, up 28lbs from my normal weight - usually I wear a size 6 bottom/4 top.Does the job but breast support is minimal; the tummy coverage is good [double lined] and the cut of the legs is about as flattering as it could be for a modest style. The adjustable straps are great as I have a long body, and overall it looks ok on. The breast support though is my only gripe that stops me giving it more stars; I have to pull it up at the end of every lap, and I'm not particularly large.

Torso short (for third trimester belly at least)
I had to return this suit it as it was WAY short in the torso, though I think I have a relatively average torso length. Could also just be the size of my belly (I'm 37 weeks pregnant) is impacting things, but I guess there should be some give for that situation given that this is a maternity suit. Pity, as it seems like a good suit, but I guess I'll just keep wearing my bikini for the few weeks I have left since I'm slowing way down anyway.

but does fit comfortably around my 2nd trimester belly
This is not a cute suit, but does fit comfortably around my 2nd trimester belly. I got a pretty good deal on this, so I don't feel too bad that it's not the most flattering swim suit ever. I've yet to get to try it out in the lap pool, so I'll update accordingly when I do.

I liked this swim suit
I liked this swim suit, and it has plenty of room for my growing belly. I suggest going to the parent website for fitting options. I did that, and my suit fit perfectly! I do wish they had a racer back option, as I like to swim laps, but the adjustable straps do allow for a tighter fit, which is nice. I am looking forward to continuing to use this as my pregnancy progresses.
