I love this book box set!! I needed a gift for my manager and was happy that this was a set of two! I gave her the larger one with bookmarks inside and kept the smaller one for myself. Perfect gift! She loved hers! And I’m using mine now to hold my remotes near the tv. May use elsewhere later.They’re very good quality! Mine arrived perfectly. No damage at all. I love how the top book opens up to store anything you might want. These could be used anywhere! The colors and design are very pretty too. I’m so happy to find this set and the price was great! These are just beautiful and look like real books. No one will ever know that they hold trinkets or photographs! It’s a beautiful show on my mantle. These are made out of real wood and have gold engraving on them. It’s a very good quality. I would highly recommend these storage boxes.

Very nicely made and they look like real books. However ,I would have liked them to be larger in size. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

I put these on my teacher desk along with a few artificial plants and a lamp- great vibes for an English/ Lit classroom! I don’t use the hidden storage box- great idea though. I highly recommend!

I have several faux boxes and think they’re brilliant for hiding miscellaneous things that need to be accessible. I had hopes for these given the reviews and photos but the quality is just not there. Mine arrived with significant paint defects and it seems like the protective paper was applied before it was dry. I would rank it a bit higher given that it’s otherwise well made and sturdy, but think the average is way off.If this is intended to be placed anywhere prominent in your home, another choice is recommended.

Large and medium sized. So much better than expected. Perfect for holding odds and ends on a mantle, entryway, or bedside table.

They are small however, I knew they would be by the dimension provided in the description. The reason for a 3 star, the colors contrast I chose was much darker than the photo. I will keep them however, would have preferred the colors shown in the photo.
