Outstanding Value for a Quality Dynamic Microphone!
The MAONO Dynamic Microphone is an impressive piece of gear, especially considering its price point. As someone who uses microphones regularly for podcasting and streaming, I’m thrilled with the performance this mic delivers. The sound quality is clear, rich, and focused, capturing my voice with excellent clarity while minimizing background noise. One of the standout features is that this mic offers both USB and XLR connectivity. This flexibility is fantastic, as it allows you to use it with a wide range of devices. Whether you’re plugging directly into your computer via USB for a quick setup or using an XLR interface for a more professional audio chain, this mic has you covered. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy design that feels durable and professional. It’s easy to set up, and the mic works well with various audio interfaces and mixers. I also appreciate that it’s versatile enough for different environments—whether I’m recording in a treated studio space or a less controlled setting, the MAONO Dynamic Microphone consistently delivers. What stands out the most is how it compares to other dynamic microphones at this price range. It holds its own against much more expensive options, making it a fantastic value for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup without breaking the bank.Overall, if you’re in the market for a reliable, high-quality dynamic microphone with both USB and XLR options, the MAONO Dynamic Microphone is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Solid build quality, usb or xlr flexibility feature, sound good, look great and substantial.
I'm not an audio or mic expert but I got these specifically because I was looking for some professional looking podcast mics that had usb or xlr options because I initially needed the USB until I got a mixer to switch to XLR.I'm not one to just get the Sure SM7B just because it's supposed to be the best sounding mic. I listen to a lot of youtubers that use a variety of mics that sound great and I don't say hmm the Sure is far superior sounding. I say ummm I can't really tell the difference with a lot of them. And even if I can, unless it's very echoey or peaking usually it doesn't take away from the video to have a cheap mic. I also watch several podcasts who use the Rode PodMic which you can get used for way under $100 and that one also sounds great. And these are big podcasts like Valuetainment. In fact, except for the fact that I wanted both USB and XLR and that I liked how these MAONO mics looked, I probably woulda gone with the Rodes. What I'm saying is that I feel like I could use these MAONO mics into the future for a professional podcast and not have to upgrade because they sound great, look professional, are are built like tanks. It's a great time to do podcasts and Youtube because there are many good cheap options and you don't need a $400 mic at all with the options out there. I recommend these MAONOs if you want the flexibility of USB and XLR. It came very useful to me when doing different kinds of videos. The usb was plug and play, and the XLR is gonna be for more professional use with mixers and multiple mics. So as you grow and when you need to upgrade... you won't have to because this mic will work for you.

Massive Upgrade – Crisp, Professional Sound!
Absolutely AMAZING mic and a huge step up from my old Fifine K688. This mic gives you both USB and XLR options, which is awesome for flexibility. The included USB software lets you fine-tune everything from EQ to gain — super user-friendly and effective. The audio quality is crisp and clean, making it perfect for podcasting, streaming, and recording. Only heads-up is the mic is pretty hefty, so you’ll definitely want a solid mic arm to hold it securely.

Nice mic at a good price.
So far so good. Just wanted to upgrade my mic for voice overs, interviews and podcast stuff and the high end shure was out of my price range. This seemed promising and so picked it up and am pleasantly surprised and how robust it sounds.Still figuring out all the settings. Not 100% sold on the touch bar to mute and unmute, that seems like something that could break and potentially become a problem down the road.
