what are the instructions for use with this converter? I have the pen and I have the ink bottle but I have no idea how to fill it.

The converter must be tightened into the pen. First. Then dip the job into the ink and turn the back up and down three times. Wipe the pen clean

Does lamy make a waterproof ink? If not is there a brand of ink that is waterproof that will work with lammys pens Will it work with the brand noodler

I like Noodlers Heart of Darkness, very black and quite waterproof. Big fan of other Noodlers inks, too. Go to the Noodlers website and check out the specs on each of the colors. Lots of great colors and various formulations for various purposes. Great ink, non-fancy bottle, excellent price. To note, you can actually refill the Lamy cartridge and reuse it many times. (Use a syringe and blunt needle, about 20-22 ga. You'll find them in the craft/hobby/industrial glue or lube section on Amazon.) Or get the Lamy converter for about $6.

Can you use one converter for multiple inks?

You can use multiple inks in one converter, but not at the same time. If you want to change the ink colour held in the converter, draw lukewarm water into the converter and then release it. Repeat this process until the converter is clean, then fill it with your desired ink colour.

Will this work with any size nib?

As long as it is a Lamy fountain pen it will fit. Nib size has nothing to do with the converter. I hope this has helped you.
