Will this span to secure into 2 studs? I'm in the US.

You’ll only be able to catch at most one stud with this sink fix since the back plate is around 14.5”. The idea is that you can use strong anchors for some of the holes. There’s a produce review video online from a British building supply company showing show strong it is with a mocked-up wall. Also, be aware that the mounting bolts are only 55 mm, or 2.17”. My Laufen sink required slightly longer bolts, so I couldn’t use this product without special ordering 120 mm bolts directly from the manufacturer at an extra cost.

Can you hang this on drywall I live in an apartment and I'm not sure if my wall is drywall

The manufacturer's product site mentions using this on Cracked Concrete, Non-cracked Concrete, Natural Stone (after site testing), Plasterboard, or Solid Brick. The photo of "plasterboard" they use shows regular drywall and greenboard. They claim SinkFix to be "the fastest and easiest way to fix a basin to any wall," with it being "excellent for plasterboard/stud walls or where the wall is of poor quality."
