Don't 2nd guess, BUY IT!!! Buttery smooth!!
Arrived in 1 day, packaged neatly and compact boxing. Initial thought upon buying was that it could be a tiny cheap knife with a very inferior blade for under 30 ducks. Nope. I opened the knife box and was greatly surprised by a knife that was exceptionally well made with quality materials. Nothing wimpy here.Knife has a nice hefty feel, weight, to it. Not overly heavy, just right. It's width is enough to be quite adequate for larger hands. The flicker has some grooves notched into it, nice touch. Visually (in person) this knife looks much more expensive than its price tag. I'm not a big fan of the handles most of companies use, but this one has a nice graining to it that slightly mimics wood grain in feel. It's not slippery. Finger grooving in right spot. Off green color is nice!Pocket clip is not cheap, thicker and wider than others. Left or right handed. 2 extra set screws included for mishaps. The action of the bearing is something to experience and behold, smoother than hot metal in butter. No play in blade in any position from locked to folded, sits centered when closed. Blade lock is secured positively when blade is flicked fully open, then disengaged with an easy press of the thumb. The blade has a nice height to it and is wider than 90% of others. The taper is perfect. Position of handle in relation to angle the blade is mounted is spot on. D2 blade (marked on thump flipper, marked with "868" on opposite side) has a nice edge, should hold good for awhile without over abuse.Only caveat is the thumb hole on the blade, too much side pressure is applied to flip the blade open (as easy as it opens already). I don't use it, so no biggie. Although others might find that a drawback, do not let that ruin an excellent knife purchase. This a bad butt knife, bad to the bone. I almost skipped this knife because of its low price, so glad I bought it. Absolutely recommend this to anyone needing an exceptional pocket knife, anyone adding quality to their collection, or just someone needing another fine tool.

There is an exception to every rule...
The media could not be loaded. Shoutout to Luke at the Outdoor Gear Review. I bought this immediately, based on his recommendation.FYI, if you order this, know that it's shipped from China. However, the wait time wasn't too bad. I ordered it January 9th, it shipped the same day, and I received it January 17th.I've had a bunch of knives from China that were generally just okay, coming in nondescript boxes. But this knife is head and shoulders above all of them. It comes in a fairly nice presentation box with a sleeve over it, along with a cleaning cloth, a Petrified Fish sticker (giving their website), and a little Ziploc baggie with 2 extra screws in case you want to remount the boot clip to the other side. The knife also comes in a Ziploc baggie. Folded, it is about 4.50", extended it is about 7.75" (7.91"), so it almost has a 3.50" (3.35") blade. It's not too heavy, compared to some I have in this size. It is a thin-style knife, and fits in the hand real well; and with kind-of rounded edges, is comfortable to hold. It appears to be made of a composite material identified as G10, which is a synthetic knife handle material made of woven fiberglass fabric and epoxy resin. It is strong and durable, while also being lightweight. It doesn't absorb water, which makes it a good outdoor knife. There is a lanyard hole. There is a very sturdy stainless-steel boot clip (which can be mounted to the other side if you're left-handed).The pivot is designed with ceramic ball bearings, and has a real smooth operation. One side of the pivot has the Petrified Fish logo (PF) on it.The 0.14" blade is touted as being made of D2 tool steel, which is an air-hardened, high carbon, high chromium steel with high wear and abrasion resistance; which can be heat treated and has a hardness of 60 HRC. The flipper is ridged, making it easy for your thumb to latch on it to open the knife. One side of the flipper has inscribed the type of steel used (D2), and the other side has the model number inscribed on it (868). The top of the blade also has a nice-sized, very functional thumb notch on it, if you like to open your knives that way.So, yeah, this knife really surprised me, especially at the price-point it's being offered at. It's a sturdy, well-made knife, and a really good deal. Buy it now before the price goes up.

Incredibly well done knife! Hits way above!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve heard some really good things about Petrfied Fish knives! I like multiple deployment and I saw this one in my price range and thought I’d give it a try! I wasn’t disappointed! This is a very impressive knife for the $32 I paid! The action is snappy, buttery smooth and drop shut on release of the liner lock! The ergonomics are awesome just feels great in the hand! The D2 blade is 3.5 inches and came razor sharp! It’s a mid size knife almost 8 inches overall! My favorite size! Has a reversible clip that attaches under the g10 scales, so no screws to catch on your pocket! Blade opens several ways! The hole in the blade is well designed and placed for thumb open or reverse flick! Can’t say enough good things about this knife! Really like it!

At 5 ounces, this is one impressive edc!
This is my third P.F., an ordered "Hourglass" (2+ weeks ago, high demand I guess), a "mini-Beluga" and this "Bunta". I have many top brands and favorites that are outstanding but these P.F.'s do compete admirably. On to the Bunta. Quite impressive. It has good weight, solid build, great ergos, sharpness and obvious great workmanship and Q.C.What most impressed me was the action. Some have mentioned it being "rough" to open which for me wasn't the case. The fullers edge for me is not nearly as sharp as some have mentioned. The flipper, the same.It snaps open and it drops so smoothly it was obviously tuned perfectly and the blade was centered and sharp. I like the blade shape/geometry, and it is ground evenly. Unique enough to be different, good cutting edge. The materials are well chosen to keep this in the budget range at $30 +or-.Highly recommend! Petrified Fish looks like a force to be reckoned with
