Pros & Cons (Defiantly Worth Getting)
Review of the 58T: Love this rolling camera backpack! You should know that It’s more of a rolling bag with shoulder straps then the opposite. I don’t think there is a better traveling camera bag with both wheels and shoulder straps out there.Pros:-The 4 wheels vs 2 on other bags I own make such a difference!-The pockets and dividers are well thought out and hold everything I need.- it’s very deep for a backpack which is great for fitting all my chunky gear and tall lenses.-zippers seem strong and durable.-the shoulder straps are pretty comfortable-camera dividers are all connected to a single piece insert that can be taken out for traveling without camera gear.Cons:-the waist strap isn’t padded and is not great. I won’t be using the strap at all. There is also not a good place to store the straps when not in use. They can be removed tho.-I don’t care for the placement of the tripod holder in the front of the bag and would prefer it to be on the side.-don’t think it would fit a 15in laptop in the computer pocket but not 100% sure.-backpack comfort is ok but not the best. I mainly roll it so it’s not a deal breaker.-when rolling, it seems to prefer being pushed or pulled head on instead of turned sideways and pulling/pushing it that way. Here is the list of gear it holds for me:-2 full frame canon cameras-3 medium sized lenses-Zhiyun Crane 2 (fits in side pouch of bag)-mavic 2 pro with controller-zoom h6 recorder w/ 2 attachable mics-rode video mic pro-manfrotto mini tripod-3 Tascam dr-10l’s-Apiture mini led light-sd card holder-3 nd filters-13” MacBook Pro-external hard drive-iPad-usb Battery bank-rain cover-extra batteries and all the chargers for the gear listed above. If your still reading by now your probably seriously considering this bag and to that I would say... GET IT! It’s not perfect but for what it is, I don’t think there is a better option out there. I wish it wasn’t so $expensive$ but think it was worth it after using it for a few months now. Hope this review helps u decide if it’s right for you.

BEST backpack for my needs
I have some smaller backpacks that aren't big enough. They resulted in always needing to bring two, which wastes carry on items for flying.I have a larger backpack for carrying everything I need but it is a pain in the neck and back, literally. This backpack is the best solution I've found. The 55T definitely fits in all carry on overhead storage, domestic and international, with the maximum amount of space for gear inside. It rolls great. And for the rare walk on uneven ground, I just pull the straps out and use as backpack. 98% of the time I'm rolling it though and it makes travel so much better. Great quality too. After 6 or 7 backpacks, this is #1

Maximum sized Carry On
When I switched to a full-frame body and lenses, my old Tamrac backpack wasn't big enough, plus I wanted a wheeled unit to make it easier at the airports. This Vanguard ALTA FLY 55T exceeded my expectations. Room for my K1 body, battery grip, charger and cord, 6 batteries, rocket blower four lenses, (D-FA 15-30, f2.8 D-FA 24-70, f2.8 D-FA 70-200 f2.8, D-FA 100, f2.8 macro). I also had my iPad Air in the front sleeve, which I did have to remove in order to fit the case into the overhead bin of the smaller planes, but no problem on the 737s. It's the maximum sized case that you can fly with, and still carry all your expensive gear in your own possession. Totally happy with my purchase!

Too small for pro DSLR... great bag, but it’s small.
Way too small for 2 pro DSLRs, I own the 62T which is amazing but too big for a carry-on and now I’ve ordered the 58T which should be the perfect size for 2 pro DSLR plus a few lenses etc -*edit - so I got the 58t and got through airport security no problem. 1dx mkii, 5dsr with grip, 300mm f4 70-200 is ii, 85mm l, sigma 14mm, me-65, 630ex flash, ring flash, and a few other items, no problems. Perfect for carry on. Rolls nice and lots of room!

Vanguard Comes Through Again
I have purchased many camera bags for different purposes (day-to-day, travel, back trails, etc.) for work in emergency service photo assignments and for personal adventures. I don't go very far without the camera. I spend valuable time comparing many, many, many bags both on-line, and by other raters before I make my decision as to where to spend my limited discretionary funds. Disclosure, I do own other bags manufactured by other companies. But when the bags arrive and I put them into use my absolute favorite go-to bags ALWAYS end up being the Vanguard bags. I recently purchased the Alta Fly 49T Trolley Bag. Among the reasons are: easy access to camera at the top (#1), lots of pockets in front, height of handle to pull the bag, space for two bodies and a couple of lenses, fits a tablet, keys, wallet, passport, etc. I cannot tell you the number of times I have traveled that I missed a photo because the camera was in a side compartment and finding somewhere to lay it down to get access was not possible. Likely the reason another favorite is my Vanguard messenger bag I also purchased from Amazon. This Alta Fly 49T makes traveling with my camera so easy! Well made, well designed. Love it. Nothing but positive built in one bag. You rocked it again Vanguard! PS I know not a single person that works for Vanguard. Bought one bag after comparing years ago, and they continue to rise to the top.

Amazing all around camera bag by a reputable company!!!
I loved it. This bag would have been amazing and perfect if it had the backpack as well. It was a mistake I made when purchasing it but I have to say that the bag had amazing features on it and felt extremely durable. I love vanguard as a camera bag company and will always use them. This particular bag was small enough to fit nicely as carry on but would have easily carried some camera equipment along with few clothes and essentials. I had to return it to get the select 55bt for my specific needs but don’t let that deter you from buying this bag.I can’t give any reviews on actual long term use but based on my experience with Vanguard, it’s superb!

too many zippers and compartments, not very practical, does not fit 16 inch MacBook
This is a nice looking backpack and a trolley backpack but it is not so functional, there is many compartments and zippers to open to access your gear and you cant fit a 16 inch MacBook even tho this was possible.

Vanguard camera trolley bag
Very practical and useful. Holds two cameras with lenses. D850 with a 70-200 mm lens and a D500 with a 150-600 mm lens. Can put extra batteries and other cables easily in the bag. It’s very well padded for protection.
