Quality product. Happy I used Hang Z and would recommend it to others. It's a little pricey when compared to other picture frame hooks but you get what you pay for. It feels much more sturdy than just 20lbs limit stamped on the hook...

This sawtooth hanger is not meant to be used with a traditional wall hook or nail in the wall. It has 6 teeth, therefor not a central place for the hook to sit perfectly. The picture provided shows the other half to this system. It uses 2 nails to attach to the wall, and the teeth sit on the 2 nail instead of 1. The beauty of this it to be able to adjust left or right with your picture staying level. Unfortunately, most buyers for box stores don't understand this, and only carry 3 or 10 packs of the canvas side without stocking or even having online the corresponding wall hook. Even here it was not readily evident how they work. They are here, I bought 50 packs of each. So if you want this, get the right wall hook. If you just want to hang it on a nail, get another sawtooth hanger.

I add these to all the oil paintings that I do on stretched canvas so when a client receives them they are ready to hang. They are quite sturdy and a great finish to paintings. They hang well. I am exceptionally happy with them, would highly recommend them. The price was phenomenal! Great value, great quality!

I am a portrait artist and always mount hardware for my clients before giving it to them so it is ready to hang. This is my hands down favorite type of sawtooth hangers. They are so easy to install, hold plenty of weight and because of the way the sit on the canvas stretcher bars, it allows the artwork to hang flush against the wall, without a gap.

I had bought these hangers from other vendors and had a problem because of their design.The hanger has 6 valleys instead of 5. If it had 5 valleys, you could center the hanger on the back of the artwork.With 6 valleys, you have to "Offset" the hanger either to the right or the left, one valley.When I bought them from amazon, the photograph of the hanger shows 5 valleys, so I THOUGHT the problem was fixed. When I received my order, it was still the old design. As a matter of fact, the photo at the top of this page is the newer, 5 valley design.

These would be great if you were trying to hang something on your wall, like say an iron safe filled with gold bars. Or an anvil. Or a piano. Or perhaps an entire, slightly-smaller house.For the 8 oz canvas I was looking to hang, these are a bit overkill. Each one of these hangers has more mass than the actual art I was trying to hang.Also, the item that showed up in my mailbox has an aspect ratio that is approximately twice as wide as the hanger shown in the Amazon photo.

These brackets work great for mounting on stretched canvas. They are easy to install and work great so our pictures are flush against the wall. We will be purchasing more of these as we have already used all the ones in this package.
