I had high hopes for this concealer. I have very dark (almost purple) shadows under my eyes. My mother had the same issue. I've been looking for a coverup that would cover them (like the makeup bloggers show how to do). This concealer is the same as the other concealers I've used. It made almost no difference. I tried different ways of applying (with their wand, with a makeup sponge, with my fingertips). It didn't matter. I also used full coverage makeup (I do my entire face for makeup) over the concealer. No difference. So I'll use this until it's done but I won't buy it again or recommend it. I'm still looking for that elusive concealer that actually works.

I was hesitant to order this after looking at the reviews bu I am so glad that I did! LOVE this concealer so much! I was looking to replace my Exuvience Cover Blend, which I guess is not made anymore. I have VERY dark circles under my eyes and have had a lot of trouble finding a concealer that covers and lasts the day without looking caked on. One tip is that the applicator applies wayyy too much, so I use my finger on the applicator to just get a tiny bit and then pat it under my eye. I let it dry and then, if needed, apply another coat.

In my late teens, I started using Dermablend to cover imperfections. It worked so well that I held onto my little round container of Dermablend for close to 20 years, using it when only its complete coverage would do. I am now 70 and needed concealer to hide the dark circles under my eyes. I searched and searched Amazon and tried several products that just were not up to the task. Then I stumbled on my old friend, albeit updated. It's now creamier and easier to blend and it still works like a miracle. I am super happy to have found Dermablend again. It delivers on its promises. I bought the fair or light color even though my skin usually takes medium in makeup. No hint of darkness under my eyes.

This is a terribly product for the face. I bought it to hide this weird yellow discoloration under my eye. If you're in your early 20s with oily skin, it might be okay. For everyone else, the finish is pasty/cake-y/dry and crumbles after a few hours of wear even with a primer. I plan to use it to cover an ugly varicose vein behind my knee, so not all is lost.Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Multi-Use Concealer is vastly superior. Plus, it's ~ one quarter the price.
