Impressive, sturdy, fabulous desk!
I don’t write many reviews anymore, as it can be a huge time expense. This deserves my time, as I feel the manufacturer went above and beyond the call of duty here! I looked at many, many adjustable height desks, and chose the Flexispot for several reasons. 1. The height is adjustable up to 48” which is much higher than several others. 2. The top tilts at any angle within its range; no presets! 3. The spacious drawer (and it is truly spacious, as far as desk drawers go!) 4. The fact that the entire top does NOT tilt. This leaves space at the back to mount a computer screen or tablet, as well as room to the side for drawing implements. 5. The extendable side table, which raises and lowers with ease, btw. With two strong, metal swing arms, I have no qualms about putting even heavy items on this little wing. The fact that it’s on the left was an added benefit for this south paw! 6. It was easily one half to one fifth of the price of the vast majority of the competition. On that note, my expectations were relatively middling, as it was so much less expensive; I told myself that if it arrived and was a piece of junk, I’d send it back. Mama, was I blown away! It’s not only sturdy, it’s SUPER sturdy! This thing is a beast! They’ve spared no expense on making the components, as far as I can tell on Day 1, very heavy, polished, and well made. The packaging was also phenomenal. Heavy duty box, lots of foam and extra packaging to ensure a safe arrival. The assembly was fairly easy; even the directions were mostly accurate. (And when does THAT ever happen?!) There were a couple minor discrepancies in the diagram, which they should update as they’ve clearly changed a component or two. But nothing you can’t figure out if you apply some brain juice! The screws and tools were packaged with easy to read letters, and they even included cable ties to keep the cords tidy.Another thing I had not gotten from the ad: the little edge that you affix to the top to keep your stuff from rolling off? It’s a heavy duty rubber, which is simply brilliant! As an artist, the last thing you’d want is an inflexible, plastic edge that would be digging into your wrist or arm at some point. Attention to this kind of detail makes me happy to enthusiastically recommend a manufacturers product! I can wholeheartedly say, if you’re concerned that the cheaper cost in any way reflects the quality or design, put your fears to rest. I think this is going to be a great desk, and a way for me to stop sitting for hours while I draw. Oh and I got the recommended wheels as well. This is a heavy desk, so you may wish to consider adding the wheels if you think you’ll ever want to move it. And another thing - if you don’t get the wheels, the included feet are all self-leveling! Again, truly fabulous attention to detail!I haven’t used it much yet, and will update my review if I find anything different as I put it to use. Gotta go draw!!

Sturdy, pretty, functional drafting desk
Just finished assembling this desk and I love it! It is heavy but easy to assemble. All the parts that snap or screw into place have designs that make it impossible to mess up. All small parts and screws are labeled clearly so you know what goes where. It definitely does not look cheap! It has a sturdy, real wood feel and the metal parts look good too and are made of heavy, sturdy materials. The height adjustment works great, as does setting a preset. The rising desk portion has a lever that makes it easy to adjust to the height you want, it feels smooth and well made. The extendable desk has metal arms underneath to give it structure. Even the drawer that pulls out feels solid and smooth (although it does have some kind of magnet that keeps it shut, so you have to pull at it to get it to open). If you want an adjustable desk for drawing, working on your laptop, reading, puzzles, really anything where you just need a bit of flexibility with the space get this desk. You won't regret it.

Perfect Art Desk
This is a great size - not too big and not too small. It’s super sturdy and the mechanism seems really solid for adjustment. The 4 custom settings are great for various height preferences. This things really heavy probably due to the electric height mechanism. The part that is adjustable for drawing or painting is super easy to adjust. I like the flip down table edge if less or more room is required. The big drawer is a bonus but doesn’t slide as smoothly as desired. That’s the only minus I can think of. I’m tall and this thing adjusts plenty high for using it while standing. It also goes very low for use by children.

Great for my purposes
The desk arrived within a week in a large box. It is quite heavy as the materials are high quality. The assembly was straight forward and did not take long to set up. The adjustments are easy and wonderful at the price point. The drawer does take a little effort to open, but the soft close feature is nice. In addition, I had to contact their customer service and they were super responsive and took care of my concerns very politely. The only slight I have is that I would have preferred other color options, but I still love this desk and it was my choice to purchase. Glad I did, it is perfect for my office set up.

Exactly the Art/Drafting desk my wife wanted.
I bought this art/drafting table for my wife's birthday and she is very, very pleased with it. We put it together in about an hour's time - with little difficulty. All parts were present in the box. The power lift works great. The drawer is a little sticky but manageable. The size is perfect for our space and looks great. After putting it together and working with it, knowing what I know now, I would definitely buy it again

A Decent Adjustable Desk
PROS:* The power height adjustment works well* Sturdy construction given the priceCONS:* The adjustable drawing surface could be slightly larger (though the size is OK for most projects).Revised Review:Removed one star from rating. We liked the initial desk a great deal due, in part, to its ease of assembly. We therefore purchased a second desk. Unfortunately, this item underwent a MAJOR redesign. The new desk is somewhat challenging to assemble and arrived missing 2 screws to secure the brace/pencil holder to the bottom of the adjustable drawing surface. While the desk is still a decent value, be aware that easy assembly is no longer a selling point for this desk.

Great table
Love that table moves up and down electronically. Very smooth operation. Also like that the center portion raises. We are using for art projects, puzzles etc. Bought a lamp to clip on the side which works well. Solid construction and fits very well in the corner of one of our bedrooms.
