These baseballs are exactly what I was looking for. They are the exact same balls used in my son's coach pitch league (5-6 year old). My 5 year old daughter has been hitting them off the tee as well. They are soft but not too soft and very durable. Several months of use, 3 days/week, and still in great condition.

These are nice for throwing in the gym. Won't gouge the floor or bleachers, though we did break an exit sign. No avoiding that I suppose.
