Was able to hear people talking quietly from 30 to 40 yards away without any problems. It is so directional that you can focus in on something you want to listen to without having to hear what is right next to that. Easy to use and adjust. And best of all it was relatively inexpensive.

I looked at the reviews and saw many good but a few that said this device did not work directionally. I expected a toy that would would work ok and have some sort of directional functionality. When I tested it, it only amplifies the noises in the room. Especially aplifies voice, but remember that it amplifies every voice. Voices behind you as well as in front. Fun toy but so far as I have tested, it does not matter where you point the thing. I tested it in my house and pointing it at some workers outside. If there is no one else speaking or other noises it works ok

Works great. Just as it's advertised. If you want a top secret super spy job from big brother then spend thousands. This works great in the woods and you will hear many birds etc that you had no idea were anywhere around.

Not a real high-end listening device. But it does the trick you can hear people talking outside of your house even with the window closed I believe up to about 50 feet away. It works pretty good it was cheap. It's just a toy to something to play with. I don't really want to say what we really bought it for we have some really strange neighbor and we had some things come missing out of our yard I don't know if they did it or not but I think I can clear now since I've been listening to him with this thing

This "toy" works extremely well! My hubby and I use it to hear birds in our little stand of woods. The range is 300 feet, but it goes well beyond that, even up and over the slight hill into the woods. We now know what birds make what sounds, and have pinpointed trees hoot owls nest in. I know its just a toy, but its certainly a good start on learning animal and bird calls. I would purchase it again.

I used this device several times before posting my review. Now, for the record, this is not a professional microphone. It does amplify the sound to satisfaction, but you will hear static noise when you turn it up high. For the value, it is great and does what I need it to do. For professional videography, I would not recommend it, but for people who just love to go out and do video for fun, it is great.

It works for listening to birds but as far as pointing it did nothing. I could hear the same sounds at same level no matter where it is pointed. I ended up giving it to some kids to have

This with ear buds is good. This with an Additional mini amp amazing. My extra amp was a cheap pocket amp for a guitar. We are adults and love it. Sneaky sneaky

90m先の遠くの音も聞くことが出来るパラボラ集音器です。玩具ではありますが、機能はしっかりしていてちゃんと聞こえます。ただ、あくまでも小鳥のさえずり、虫の声、川のせせらぎ、滝の音など、自然の音を楽しむためのものなので、騒音のある場所では機能を十分に発揮できないと思います。玩具レベルとしてはかなりしっかりと機能を果たしていると思います。アウトドアやキャンプが趣味の方には是非おすすめしたいです。電池は付属していないので追加購入が必要です。

集音というテクノロジーを体現できる玩具、価格はややお高いが、これは面白そうと、好奇心がはしゃぎだす。ビス止めの９ボルト電池は子供には若干敷居が高く、やはり大人がついていてのおもちゃになる予想、絶対してはいけませんと書いてあると、必ずやってしまうのが目に見えるわんぱくたち、危険性の説明、理解は　必要。身に着けた姿が目立ってカッコよく、友人が騒ぎ出す、飽きるまでしばらく我慢必要かも。
