While out wood's walking, the fiber optic rod in my front iron sight fell out. It was a William's Fire Sight mounted on a Ruger MK II.I ordered these Truglo replacements. They arrived on time as usual. Thanks Amazon.com!The replacements went in without a hitch. Applying a little heat at both ends of the cut-it-yourself fiber optic rod locks the rod in place and gives a VERY nice sight picture. Remember to be generous when cutting your replacement rod. You need to melt the ends to lock it into place. The light rod is very bright.Truglo seldom disappoints with their products. And, I have many of their products.If you need to replace a fiber optic rod, this is the one to get.I am well satisfied with everything about this product. The price point was okay, the product performs flawlessly, there are PLENTY of rods in the package, and, Amazon.com has never left me waiting beyond their projected delivery dates. If I ever need to get more, I'm coming right back here.

work fine for collecting light but are to small to see for my application. Good quality though
