Folded and in the carrying case, the length is about 39 inches and the width and height are about 6 inches.

How much does this cot tend to creak when you roll over?

I have had this cot for about 4 years and we use it at work (night crew member) to take turns napping on our breaks. After 4+ years of use, about 4 hrs/night, 5 nights/week, it's still sturdy, quiet, and comfortable. This is honestly a well constructed, excellent quality product.

What, if any, kind of mattress could be placed on this cot? Thank you.

I use,TETON Sports Camp Cot Pad by Teton Sports, it's a little pricey, tag says Item 131, Universal Camp Pad, made in China of Polyurethane Foam, about 1 1/2 inches thick, length and width are compatible to cots dimensions, the pad has a small pocket attached for valuables and it has the straps also attached, so you can roll it up into itself also,6 bungee locks attach to cot frame to prevent any movement of pad. It was purchased through Amazon.com.I am 69, and it provides some additional comfort. However, I think price out weighs value and you could do better. Has anyone had problems with the feet causing damage to a tent floor? Thanks

I have not had trouble with that, but did as a precaution, cut some small maybe 4x4" squares of that closed cell blue foam roll like they have at Walmart for a 1/4" thick or so sleeping pad for a tent. That foam roll was too long for me being female anyway, so I didn't miss 4" off the end across it. I cut 6 of those one for each foot on the cot, and big enough for them not to slip out from under the "feet" of the cot. Don't know if that was necessary but love that tent and didn't want to take the chance. Hope this helps...
