AcmeZubaida Velvet Horizontal Upholstered Glider Recliner in 2-Tone Gray

This item is listed as a light gray 2 tone velvet recliner with Black stitches. But what they send you is a dark gray with white stitches recliner. Nothing like what they advertise. Very deceptive advertising. I am extremely disappointed. Had tried purchasing this item from another seller. The same issue. They advertise one image but deliver something else. As i am 69 years old and ill it was difficult returning the previous recliner. Now i have received the same recliner and not sure if i can return it because of my illness.

So to start it is not nearly as wide as the pictures look. The arms are nice and the chair is firm so don’t let the overstuffed fool you. The 2nd thing I noticed right away was the giant scratch/hole in the arm of the chair I just dropped almost $400 on. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. This was a birthday present for my husband & arrived damaged. I could say it was worth money if not for the huge hole being scratched into brand new furniture. Not happy.

I really like the quality of this chair, it’s easy to assemble, quick shipping, fluffy arm and head rests with a nice firmer seat and long foot rest. HOWEVER - the photo on amazon looks like a super super light grey and the chair we received is a dark slate grey color. I like it just fine, but if I had my heart set on the photo color described I would be disappointed with the difference so just be aware.

Got the notification of delivery while at work, spent the whole day daydreaming about getting home and chilling in my new recliner. In my mind I was holding margaritas reclined in my new chair watching the latest prime time hit TV shows. Well, I pull up and see the box and immediately rushed to bust that bad boy open and get my chill on. After assembly I was baffled, did I just assemble model furniture? My dreams of reclining with margaritas was crushed as I realized my 6'2" 275lb gargantuan size wasn't going to fit in this chair. With a tear in my eye I repacked the chair for return.

Wow. Great chair. Padding on the back hits right in your middle back so your head is not thrown forward. Very firm foam. I thought the material would be softer, it's more like microfiber. The back reclines a little to far back in the sitting position. Reclining is easy to lay out and easy to push down. Nice chair

This chair is pretty close to matching our current sectional. It had black stitching and our couch has beige stitching which I prefer. But the chair is comfortable and super supportive. I prefer it to my bed when I'm needing to nurse the baby. We take naps in it occasionally. Just so happy to have our own spot... and it was a breeze to put together.

The wings do not fit properly but I was able to hammer them into place (not something I was exptecting to do). There is a small tear in one of the wings and the bracket was installed a bit crooked. The tear doesn't show but still... Overall I like the chair but the quality is just not there.

It gets a star for easy assembly, and 3 stars for great look and feel, as advertised. It gets minus 1 star because the seat cushion is a little high, making the armrests feel a little low. (This may just be because I am tall.) Also, the foot rest is a little more difficult to close than I feel it should be. But in summary, very good chair.
