As someone who loves doing my nails at home, I’ve always struggled with the mess that comes with filing and buffing. I mean, nail dust gets everywhere, and honestly, it’s a pain to clean up. Plus, I was getting a bit worried about inhaling all that fine dust every time I filed my nails. That’s when I decided to try out the Melodysusie Nail Dust Collector, and I have to say I'm seriously impressed.First off, the design is sleek and doesn’t take up a ton of space on my desk. It looks professional, but it’s also pretty compact, so it fits perfectly without crowding my workspace. The surface is smooth, making it super easy to wipe down, and the LED light gives it a little extra touch of polish.Now, let’s talk about performance. I was honestly amazed at how well this dust collector works. The suction power is so much stronger than I expected! It captures pretty much all the nail dust while I’m filing or buffing, which has been a total game-changer for me. I don’t have to deal with dust flying all over the place anymore, and it’s honestly such a relief not having to clean up every time. It’s also not too loud, so I can use it without it being distracting or annoying.Okay cleaning it…I was worried that cleaning it would be a hassle, but thankfully, that’s not the case. The filter is super easy to remove, and emptying it is quick and simple. I’ve had this dust collector for a little while now, and it still works like a charm—no loss of suction or weird noises.

I am a newbie to DIY dip powder nails. Needless to say, things have gotten a little messy. Not to mention, I also suffer from dip flu. To help alleviate this issue, I bought the Melody Susie Dust Collector. And I am happy I did. It captures much (though not all) of the nail dust as I file my nails. As such, I am not breathing as much of it in. Moreover, my desk is somewhat cleaner with the dust collector.It has two power settings - Lo and Hi. I usually use it on the highest setting. The control buttons are soft touch and located in an area that is easily accessible. I find myself accidentally turning off poor changing the speed setting. Therefore, I position the control panel away from me to stop that from happening.The dust collector sounds like what you would expect. It is not overly loud. but not whisper quiet either.The power is more than adequate for the job. At first, I didn't think so. But, I tried the paper towel test. Lay a paper towel over the dust and the paper towel should instantly stick to the nail dust collector, as the suction of the fan pulls at anything near it.Cleaning the filter is easy. I shake it out over the garbage can and/or use a blow dryer on low/no heat to remove as much dust as possible before putting it back ino the machine. Melody Susie instructions suggest to change the filter every 2-3 months. But, as I am a DIYer who only uses it 2-3 times per month, I will only change every 6-8 months.Overall, I am enjoying this dust collector.

MelodySusie nail dust collector is a game-changer for me as a nail technician. It effectively collects almost all the dust, and the replacement filters are affordable and swiftly delivered. Careful not to rinse the filter like I did in the beginning. It is made of cardboard. Purchased this in Dec 23. It worked well while it lasted. It recently shut off on me about 3days ago and has came back on since. I did get a good yr use out of the product. However, considering the fact it wasn't used everyday and no more than 3x a week. I feel like it should have lasted longer than a year. So, can't say I'll purchase this one again. Wasn't a spectacular performance to risk another buy to only get another possible year of usage.

Collects all the dust. Minimal noise. It’s a great investment.

Disappointing. I bought these because they were listed as compatible with my MelodySusie dust collector, but they don’t fit properly. The size is slightly off and doesn’t seal like the original filter, which affects suction. Frustrating since they’re from the same brand. I even did a Double-check of the model before buying.
