Amazing for video and photo editing
This is an absolutely fantastic monitor. I am using it for video editing and processing high resolution images from my Nikon Z9.I am super impressed how accurate the colours are. I did not need to calibrate it like I have done with my previous branded monitors. You get an awful lot for your money and my opinion is that this performs much better out there than much more expensive ones.No issues with brightness as others have mentioned. Colours are extremely accurate for media and even print.Very easy to assemble and set up. It's a 10/10 from me.

Brilliant monitor if you don't need 4K, forget the speakers
Most of my screen time is spent in Firefox, Outlook and Word. I was concerned that changing to a 4K monitor would mean text that was too small to work with. The ASUS PA278CV monitor seemed to be a suitable. In fact, it's brilliant! Clear text, great definition, colours and connectivity, versatile stand and, a reasonable cost (Amazon) compared to 4K. I was also concerned that moving to a 27" from a 22" would be overkill for my small computer desk, but it's a perfect fit. I have reduced peripheral vsion on the right-hand side (hemianopia) but the width of the screen encourages me to scan to the right; a positive attribute that I hadn't expected. Downside? Speakers are quiet and fogetable apart from Windows system sounds. The supplied instructions use pictograms that are not the most informative. Written instructions can be downloaded at ASUS Download UK, and are almost essential. With those instructions I found two more USB-A ports on the side of the monitor. At the moment I'm using HDMI input, but I will be trying DP. The USB-C connection to a Samsung S8 tablet, automatically changed the tablet to DX mode and, the ASUS monitor produced a great version of the tablet screen. My Windows 10 set up with an ancient graphics card was happy to switch to 75Hz refresh, but the 11th gen Core i5 running Windows 11 in Intel UHD graphics will only run 64Hz. Neither computer will run HDR. I need to try the USB-C input as a KVM. There is also a free 3 month download of Adobe Creative Cloud to try.In summary, I couldn't be happier and, it looks good with the nearby ASUS ET12 router.Update 1 September 2024As with all of my ASUS kit, it has performed faultlessly. I'm a stroke lived-experience person for several Universities and the Stroke Association, and that means 90 minute Zoom or Teams sessions using separate speakers and a webcam. Additionally, DESNZ webinars on Net Zero. The height adjustment is superb for that, and again, I never have dry eyes or eye strain at the end of those sessions, although I am certified as sight impaired.Update 16 September 2025The inbuilt KVM works fine for switching between the USB-4 and HDMI inputs. The mains input appears to be defective withing the monitor but continues to work if I don't reposition the screen. ASUS provided a free warranty update to 5 years, so if it becomes a problem, I'll send in back under warranty.

PERFECT TRUE (CALMAN VERIFIED) PICTURE QUALITY FOR VIDEO EDITING
This monitor is just what I wanted . . !* * * EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY * * *I make films, and for a long time I was using an ordinary 27 inch monitor, which was okay, but I wanted an editing monitor that would represent 'true colour', as I could not be sure that the films I was making were colour corrected in true colour. This monitor is 'calman' verified, which means that it has gone through rigorous tests and calibration processes, to ensure that it is factory colour graded.A ProArt Display PA278QV Colour Calibration Testing Report is provided for each monitor, before it leaves the factory.I like that the monitor controls are located on the same side as the screen, so that you can see each of the six buttons, and you can switch on a ruler and grid, which I will find to be very useful when editing my films.I can't say anything bad about this monitor.I am using the Pinnacle Studio Editing Programme (PS's 17, 20, 21, 22 and 23 Ultimate), and the picture quality is far superior, when using this ASUS monitor. . !I had previously purchased a BenQ Designer 27 inch monitor, which was more expensive, but I was not happy with it, and returned the monitor, the screen appeared to be very dark, even with the brightness turned up to maximum. This ASUS ProArt PA278QV has received many excellent reviews on YouTube, which is why I decided to purchase this 2560 X 1440 monitor. So easy to set up on my pc and connected to my existing wall mount arm, I am seriously thinking of buying a second one - as I use two monitors in my editing room . . !

It is what it says on the tin, and brilliant!
It is what it says to be, as on the tin, (so to speak.)I have absolute in no regret to buy this it is one of the most useful screens and it's colors are accurate out of the box and fit for a professional..If you want to avoid reflection this is most likely the very best you can buy though it has no side reflection shields. The screen easily tilts in all the directions required, so you can read a page in any direction. There is an array of connection points neatly hidden, and a frontal array of control buttons if change or adjustment to working requirements is required. One of my top purchases, is worthy of the research I made before investing in a screen.Cannot say for gaming , I am not gamer so would depend if refresh rate, but that you have to consider
