I actually use this to check my aquarium water temps because it's not only water proof, it give very quick and accurate readings ( I don't submerge it even though it's water proof). Worth the expense just for those reasons alone. Also came with a case and spare battery. Very pleased.

This is the only brand of digital thermometer I'll buy. I've tried many others, but none last as long or are as durable and easy to clean. They're accurate, and when I'm cooking using metric recipes, I can switch to Celsius.

This thermometer is long enough to reach into the front well of the commercial dishwasher in the church kitchen. I was able to ensure that the thermometer on the dishwasher was still working. the hot water tank was the problem and we needed to increase the thermostat on the water heater a bit. I had been using a digital meat thermometer from home with difficulty to measure the dishwasher water. This one has a nice long probe and is waterproof so I ceased to be nervous about dropping it in the water. I never did drop it but I was more confident. The top digital read was easy to read even when the water reached 140 and was steaming. It was very fast (instantaneous)to change temperature and read for me.

We have one in kitchen and one on my barbecue. Keeps us from undercooking our food. Works everytime. When battery runs down, it is easily changed. Had the first one a while before I bought the second. Excellent product.

Instant results. Easy to read, accurate digital readout. Turns itself off if you forget…to save battery. Waterproof. Great to check fish tank temp…because aquarium heaters are famous for inaccuracy. Also use to check temp of water before being added to tank…for top offs due to evaporation. Expensive but worth it for peace of mind.

The media could not be loaded. Was asking Mr. Google about reliable thermometers, as I couldn't tell if it was my heater or thermometer that was failing. To play it safe, I rushed out to buy a new heater. After 45 minutes letting my tank heat up, I saw the temp hadn't really changed. Ok, maybe the thermometer is wack. Saw this guy on yourube using this meter to compare temps with his in tank thermometer. It came yesterday and the accuracy is phenomenal. Bought a new thermometer... compared and ...SPOT ON.Now, I can safely, when doing water changes, temp the water that will go into my tank to ensure there is no temp fluctuation which could cause shock to my cute little Betta Guy!! Now, my hubby wants one. Have no clue why, but he does..lolOnly con (which could be MY lack of following instructions), but found trying to follow the Hold Current Temp, et., confusing, as the temp, even after clicking HOLD, would still change... So, not sure what that function is all about. Other than that, this little gizmo is STELLAR!I thank you Cooper-Atkins and my little water baby thanks you!! 😊

I work in food service and needed a thermometer to temp food that would hold up to wear and tear, be easy to use, and small enough to carry but big enough to not lose it. This works great

I got this to help with managing aquarium tank temperatures during water changes, so that I could adjust the faucet as needed to maintain the correct temperature before being conditioned and being added to the tank. This thing provides an immediate read, and it will continue to provide adjusted readings as I tinker with the faucet handle trying to stay within the correct range. I cannot say with absolute certainty that it gives an accurate reading, but it seems to be consistent and I trust it. I was reluctant to spend this much money on a thermometer, but I have to say it was worth it. My husband is even eyeing it for his beer-making hobby.
