Camera screws stripped out on install because the housing is cheap plastic, due to this I now have water in the camera rendering it basically useless as all I see is condensation on the lens when it kicks on.Instructions weren’t great but the install was pretty easy. If it weren’t for the camera issue this would be great.*Update: The seller is working with me to replace the camera. Will update the review when I get the new one installed. Very good service with this.*Update Two: Got the replacement camera a bit ago and finally had time to install it. It works great, must have just got a bad one initially. Great service and product all around. Probably going to get a second for the wife.*Update Three. Got the second for the wife. So far a few months in both are working great still. Would def recommend. To note on the install I basically covered the back part of both cameras where the wire comes out with hot glue to further waterproof them. Not sure it’s done anything extra or not but both still work with no moisture in them.

Would have given 5 stars if The wiring diagram was better. Install would have went a lot fast if you didn’t have to figure out the wiring on your own. Overall the camera and install kit is really nice. Works great in our 07 wrangler and looks like it could be an oem part after installed.

I was worried from reading other reviews about the installation instructions. People were saying they were hard to figure out. You do have to put a little thought into them but it’s not as bad as everyone makes out. If you can install a stereo system and get the wires ran from the camera to the mirror, you shouldn’t have any trouble figuring out the wiring. Only had it in a couple days but seems to work great. Only thing I’m not liking at the moment is the mirror has a blue tent to it. I’m sure I’ll get use to it over time. And yes, I did pull the plastic film protector off

It is what we wanted but like so many others said instructions and installation not easy.

I should have read the description all the way as I thought the mirror had auto dimming, especially for the price. Although this model states “HD” image, I’ve seen other models with auto dimming at much cheaper of a price and don’t think there’d be much drop off in video quality. Yes, the directions will leave you scratching your head.

It works great, easy to install. Very clear picture on back up camera.

After receiving this camera, which by the way arrived late also. I assembled the camera onto the tire mounting bracket. It immediately broke. The instructions are horrible. If you are knowledgeable in automotive wiring, shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't waste the time or money on this product.

Instructions are outdated and not helpful as the harnesses they provide different.

good package. a bit pricey at ~ $250 CAD vs some of the standalone kits but convenience of kit is its gives all the pieces you need to install and set up (mine was a 2007 JK wrangler). Really like how it gives an oem feel using rear view mirror vs other solutions with separate mount screen. Also find it is a big benefit now to have back up camera, does take about 3s to kick in when put in reverse, but really handy in dark & busy parking lots for backing up. Was worried screen may be too small but not an issue.
