Prestige Medical Nurse Lanyard Watch Military Time

I bought this watch and another nursing watch and I definitely prefer this one. It is a much more solid watch and doesn't feel cheap. I have used it about a week now and it has kept perfect time. Easy to see the face and seconds hand while taking pulse and respiration. I will probably change out the lanyard since I don't really care for it and it's a bit long, but that's not a big deal. I would recommend this watch. It would be a good gift for a graduating nurse.

Aside from the lanyard, the watch itself looked fantastic when I got it. Switched the crap lanyard for a nice retractable clip-on. Made it to the first clinical and went to retrieve it from my bag, and the glass had fallen out of it! I didn't treat it like a baby, but I also didn't treat it roughly or have any force on it. I'll try precision gluing it back in place, but the lens being off made the hands come in contact with other things in my bag and might be damaged beyond just being bent out of place a bit...

This watch turned out to be exactly what I wanted. So many pocket watches are really junk unless you want to pay some real money. Often times the stem breaks away from the case when you give it a firm pull from your pocket, or the chain breaks. This watch has a lanyard that won't break, and the clip attaches to an integral part of the case. It keeps perfect time as well, nothing to gripe about. For the money, this is what you want.

Poor quality - the first one stopped working after a month. I got an exchange. The second one stopped after about 50 days. I got a new battery thinking maybe the stock battery was just crappy. I put in a new battery and it worked again ... for about a month. I give up. I'm going to try to get my money back, but I won't buy one of these again.

I have bought four of these in eight years. I love the size of the watch face, and how easy it is to read no matter how my eyes change their prescription. However, the movement on the first one lasted 3 years. The subsequent ones less and less time passes before the movement dies, now the watch workings don't outlast the battery it comes with. It's a pretty piece of crap.

I couldn't figure out why the watch kept falling off the lanyard. Was I pressing the catch in the pocket? Was it getting caught on something?Nope. The gapping on the crab claw is so big that the watch can just slip off. I'd recommend finding a similar watch from a different manufacturer.

Great concept and perfect for me. But it is really stinks, because the battery works 2 weeks to 3 weeks

All the reviews talked about this being high quality, but after less that four months, it is broken, and it's past the date for exchange or refund. I had problems the first couple of months with having to reset the time every couple days, but I thought maybe I had pulled the nob out inadvertently. I thought initially it was the battery, but even after replacement, the minute hand and hour hand no longer move, but the second hand does. Much good that does me. Also, the silver has completely rubbed off, showing a brassy tone.

It comes with a good quality lanyard. It's about the size go a £2 coin, so it's easy to read without getting in the way.
