A well constructed DC regulator
This device works great but remember to place a load on it as you adjust the output. Otherwise the output voltage will spike and then drop to 0. Also make sure that the input voltage is stable before attempting to regulate. I used it to regulate voltage from multiple Zerolemon 18600 Li-ion batteries wired in series via their usb ports. I had a bad battery in the array but this device dealt quite well with the radically fluctuating voltage (+/- 5 volts max 15 volts). Once I identified the bad battery and replaced it, everything ran smooth. However, it is nice to know that it can deal with a fluctuating input voltage. This feature can come in handy for solar applications. If the input voltage drops below 8 volts the device fails to output any current. The regulator dial is a bit tricky because its range is limitless. I could spin the dial forever but only a specific range would actually regulate voltage. The dial should have limits and the voltages should be indicated around the dial so that multimeters won't be required. But on the other hand, since the preciseness of a mechanical dial can drift, it may be best to leave the construct as is so that multimeter checking is forced and customers do not fry their devices.I only tested this device with outputs of 6v and 12v and it worked fantastically. I look forward to tinkering with more of DROK electronics.

Worked great to enable my DIY car backup camera to be powered from backup lights
I was installing a backup camera in my 2012 Mini Countryman S, and found that the backup lights were only supplied with 11.2-11.4 VDC. I wanted to use the backup lights to power both the camera and the display monitor, but found that there was not enough voltage to make this work. I ended up ordering this DROK adjustable voltage regulator to set up the voltage to 12V. This worked exactly as I expected and resulted in the backup camera working flawlessly from that point on. I've had it installed for a few weeks now and have had no problems. The unit is small and lightweight, enabling me to easily hide it inside the car. The device works exactly as described. There is a tiny screw that can be used to adjust the voltage, which I needed an eyeglass screwdriver to turn. The included wires were plenty long enough for my application and were easy to strip. The color coding of the wires made it easy to make sure that I was hooking it up properly. The adjustable voltage on this regulator gave me the confidence that if the backup camera required slightly higher or lower voltage, I would be able to make it work using this voltage regulator. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone having a similar issue.

What's going on here "Drok"?
I received two of these adjustable voltage "Bucks" and neither of them could be adjusted...up or down! Tested before shipment? What a joke! Neither Amazon's fault or the selling shippers. Quality control at the factory is lacking. Please, DROK Co. refine your control standards. I have purchased many "DROK" items over the past ten years or so. I am almost at my limit. More defective items received in the future: I'm DONE !

Works great!
I hooked up a LED headlight to my daughters razor scooter and it worked fine....except when she used the throttle. Whenever she used the throttle the voltage would drop and the light would shut off. I installed this little guy and with a little adjustment it worked great and the headlight stays on all the time now

These will function as described and have the benefit of being output adjustable. I have 4 of them. One does have a bit of a problem adjusting to an exact output voltage.

This is just what I was looking for! I was looking to make my setup total DC. Connected this up to my 12v supply and set the output voltage and then watched it for 1/2 hour and the output didn't fluctuate at all! Very anxious to start using this in the field! Thanks DROK!

The voltage varies beautifully with a load
I sent one back because I could not get the output voltage to change. Then I read a review saying to be sure there is a load on the output while checking the output voltage. The voltage varies beautifully with a load. By the way turn the screw CCW to decrease voltage on the output. Works great!

This regulator produces 12.2 volts from an input of 12-14.7 volts and with a variety of loads. Exactly what I needed to keep my radio from sounding a high battery alarmI've only had it for a few days so I can't speak to durability So far so good.
