Amazingly Fun and Accurate Halo Models
These things are seriously awesome! I have always been a fan of these types of small projects and I like working with the metal more than the older wooden one. These are definitely smaller than the wood ones were but are pretty sturdy while being good to work with without needing tools. I built my first one (from a different set than these Halo ones) without using any tools but then decided I wanted to work on a lot of these so I bought the toolset off of Amazon. They just make removing the pieces from the sheet easier and give more precision over constructing these models. I am a big time Halo fan and have played every game in the series, and read some of the books. These are instantly identifiable by my coworker's (I have them displayed in my office) and are a great talking point. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun project to work on. The more meticulous you are the longer it'll taken it the more sturdy it will be.

Fun little models
I have seen these in stores before but did not realize how small they were until I opened the Halo Mantis (stands about 2 inches tall). I had initially purchased these for the kids but our 16 year old had difficulty putting the Halo Spartan bust together without assistance.I also purchased the three piece tool set which came in handy for assembling these models. A flat tweezers is recommended also.Over all these are a neat way to spend a hour or two and the end result is fun to check out.Instructions could use a little help but I got the hang of them with a quick YouTube search.I am going to hold onto the other ones and put them together later.

Was a little disappointed by the small size
My son received these for Christmas. Was a little disappointed by the small size. You need tweezers. You have to be very careful too because once you bend a piece, if you need to bend it back, more then likely it will break. We had a few melt down moments but we finally made do. Overall though, he seems to like it so far.

Garbage
Too small. If the size was increased by even 20%, it would be a lot more manageable. The instructions are also lacking. If you bend a piece the wrong way the first time, be prepared for it to break when you correct it. I regret this purchase. I'm not a fan of buying models that can break so easily and remain incomplete.

I have put together 20+ metal earth models by now and I love them. They are fun to put together and great to look at. I decorated my cubicle at work and all my colleagues loved them. For this set I found that the mantis is quite flimsy when put together. Everything looks great though.

Fun
I haven't done much in this kind of hobby work, but I really had fun putting them all together. All said and done, it took me around 8 or 9 hours to build all four models.Their detail was much higher than I expected.Make sure you have a small needle-nose pliers--they go a long way to helping with the small tabs that you need to fold and bend.

Absolutely amazing!!!
I had got a metal earth model with the new Halo 5 that recently came out and I was a little nervous about building it so I decided to get the full halo set and start to "practice". After building all 4 sets, I am hooked!! I wish there was more halo sets!!
